Yeah, for a player that Holland is so high on, says is part of the future of the franchise, and refuses to trade and says he never will despite all the offers he's apparently recieved, he sure doesn't see much NHL playing time when he could def help and get some good experience instead of the same old in the AHL. He gets demoted for a guy that's cleared waivers like 10 times this season and brings nothing at all. Awesome.

Never really does. Guys huge..barely has to move to block the best of chances. But ya, doesn't help when the only shots that get through are s***ty floaters.

Damnnnn! Hopefully for Lundqvist it's only a precautionary measure and if he misses anymore time it's only one game. The Rags have no hope without him, and it's another season without a cup for him. I remember how pissed he was when they lost in the Conference Final last year. He'll be 35 before the playoffs start next season. Still one of the best goalies in the league, but time is catching up.

At least Andersson was getting in scrums yesterday. I think it's the most i've ever noticed him in a game before. lol

I'm happier with last night. If it wasn't for Mrazek last year they would have lost badly. At least this year the play was a lot closer. If the Wings had buried all those missed opportunities and open nets, they would have won.

Of course not. Howard played better down the stretch so he deserved to play, Just saying that some have overreacted to Mrazek's decline in play and think Howard is playing better than he actually is.

I didn't say all year, but may be majority was the wrong word. Anyways, people act like one bad month has ruined his career when most of what we've seen from him has been very good to elite performances.

True, Mrazek can play the puck quite well.

As for tonights game..missed chances and bad defence and spotty goaltending were the downfall. Tighten some of that up and Tampa is easily beatable.

Exactly. For those saying that Mrazek sucked a "majority of the year"... Feb 14's game against Boston was his first real bad one and the start of his decline. So in his 16 starts with and after that, he was under .900 save% in 8 of them. So lets say 8 really bad games. He lost 6 games, won 6 games, lost in OT in 1. Out of 49 starts, that's nothing. 2.33 GAA and .921 save% on the season. Yeah, he was horrible. Howard's stats are 14-14-5 .906 save% and 2.80 GAA on the season. Not even a .500 goalie. Now add a playoff loss.

LOL Mrazek has a few rough games after playing Vezina calibre all season and all of a sudden he's total garbage. I understand saying that about Howard because he still can't get it together after 7 years, but Mrazek is in his first full season. I think he deserves more of a chance than that.
