Can we get Lidstrom to coach the defence?

Yep. Too one dimensional, and the one thing he brings he can't do with the speed of the NHL game. Wonder if he gets moved this summer..that's if there's any interest. He's taking up a roster spot for nothing.

Whoa they won. Just watched the highlights...Sheahan has been steppin up lately. Howard played pretty well, had some help from the posts. Whatever it takes to get the win. Blues are within one against Boston. Still 12 minutes..lots of time to tie it.

I agree with one of the posts above that as bad as Mrazek has been, Howard hasn't been the epitome of consistancy throughout his career. Blash should play Howard cause he has been better lately, but I expect a bad performance from him eventually. That's his M.O. Maybe he does turn into the Mrazek of early this year, but I doubt it. We shall see I guess.

I was thinking about that earlier when I saw Mrazek was pulled tonight. Fun stuff.

Maybe not. Like I said, I don't care who plays. Whoever gives the best chance to win. But saying Howard hasn't had a .880 game at his worst point is ridiculous. March 19 against Florida he was.885 lol

Yeah Mrazek sucked..i watched the two goals. Can't tell me Howard hasn't had more than one game like that. I don't care who plays, but neither have been stellar. It's frustrating, especially with the talent they both have.

Still allowed 2 goals, but yeah he doesn't look too bad. I dunno what he was doing on that last goal. I just wish one of the goalies could steal a game once in awhile.

Just turned on the game. Wasn't Mrazek supposed to start? Something wrong with him, or was Howard a last minute decision? I see the Habs got a goal called back on a coach's challenge, then they got another one that counted to tie it. s***!!! WTF was Howard doing???

I can't quote on my phone right now for some reason, so as for the Mrazek/Howard thing, if you look at stats then Howard has been better. But in the two latest blowout games(PIT,TBL), Mrazek got the losses as starter, but after he was pulled, Howard came in and let 3 goals in each. It's not like he came in and shut it down.In the MTL game, Mrazek saved another embarassing loss by his play until the third, when he let in a questionable one or two. Tonight Howard wasn't really tested all game then everything almost fell apart at the end.If you look at what they've both done game by game lately, they both haven't done well. One has to step up, and soon.

18 GA in the last four games. 10 on Mrazek, 8 on Howard, At a time when the team should be playing their best to clinch a playoff spot. Horrid. Just horrid. Why? He's not doing any better than Mrazek, lol

Long as Detroit wins everythings fine, but it would be nice to jump ahead in points.

s***ty buzz. Even if they win, as long as Detroit wins and keeps tied in points, Philly is only ahead due to one less game played. When all the games are done Detroit would take the tiebreaker in wins even if they both win all their games.
