Half the guys on this team shouldn't be in the NHL right now. I can only count 10-12 i'd keep. Ditch the rest. It might have something to do with Blash, but pretty much all the guys on the team have played lots of NHL games. They should know what to do instead of just collapsing. If your coach isn't cutting it, take care of it yourself.

It doesn't even faze me anymore when they blow games like that. I know going in it's either a squeaker win, or a loss. They could be more competitive if Holland would make some gutsy trades for once and try to fill the obvious holes, but he won't. it's been embarrassing yes, but the Wings have been elite or at the least competitive for a quarter century. Right now the veterans are showing age badly, team is soft, goalies flip flopped so much neither can establish a rhythem, defense needs serious help, forwards can't seem to do much. I think it's time Kenny commits to a rebuild if they miss or get smashed in the first round of the playoffs. Can't keep going like this. I can think of 10-12 guys on this current team i'd keep and ditch the rest. It's been a good run, but with this current team, nothing will get accomplished that actually matters.

Canada's goalie Blackwood just signed a 3 year ETC with the Devils. That kid is going to be good. Big kid at 6'4, 215 lb, tons of skill and promise. Top ranked NA goalie in the 2015 draft. Bit of a hot head though. Was suspended 8 games recently for intent to injure after slashing a player in an OHL game.

Jimmy absolutely needs to sit. He's been horrid lately. I don't see the issue with Mrazek getting the reigns for awhile. It happens a lot around the league. Veteran falters, young upstart takes over as long as he keeps playing well. Just because Jimmy "needs starts" in case they want to trade him for a good return makes no sense. They should be playing who gives the best chance to win no matter what. Right now that's Mrazek.

They lost?? 4-1, Howard pulled allowing 4 goals on 14 shots, powerplay sucked, beaten by a rookie backup. Wow. I dunno what to do about the scoring issue, but Howard needs to sit. He's allowed 7 goals in his past two games on what, 20 shots? Stick with Mrazek and go from there.

Green is doing fine. The market value for defencemen is very high, from the elite to the scrubs. Like someone mentioned, Q makes over $4 million per. $6 million for Green is more than fair, maybe even under market value. Lidstrom/Rafalski was one sick pairing.
