this game should be in hockey's textbook as a definition of sucking. -

this team stinks... they got extre-e-e-rmly lucky to pull a win. wings would've lost by 3 or 4, should they opponent suck a bit less. -

Quebec Junior AA Player ARRESTED on ice for fight with official
ami replied to Jersey Wing's topic in General
yeah, those days memos were sent only by email and had been few; no schmitter-twitter or buttbook-facebook. -
Sure we don't, but I am not basing my view of Kovalchuk on what I don't know. But we all know the guy have been acting as an a.s.s.h.o.l.e through his whole NHL career, on the ice and off the ice as well. He is a hero in Russia (due to his talent mostly, but his defection from NHL plays big part here too). And he being a hero and a captain has been dumped by his coach?!! It is most definitely not a signal to the team or anybody, it is an indication that somebody had had enough of that a.s.s.h.o.l.e. So, yes, very good riddance for new jersey devils, they save lots of money that will be channeled towards better cause.

On the other hand, sometimes some of these fat pigs need to be reminded (one way or another) to have another doughnut... -
the guy is an ******* and he proved it again.

Kronwall is back tomorrow. Will check his homework. Welcome back, Nik!

Man, it was a good riddance for devils after all...

Sounds like definition of communism to me: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" Won't last long.

GDT 2/8 GDT : Florida Panthers at Detroit Red Wings, 7:30 EST

What a suprise - no suspension for a red wing! Wait guys, they saved it for more crucial moment of the year... -
now, see TOR and OTT to swap their positions in standings! Big ******* deal!!!
-
I can't recall 2 of these 3... No, cannot... The one I do recall was first game of the season. that's it. by the end of today, wings are out of playoff spot and likely won't make it back in (unless Boston f***s it up for us, but in any case, this team does not control its destiny for the season).
-
My best guess would be: this is a year we miss playoff? Well, not best, just a guess. Wings are in a pace getting 93 pts in 82 games. not enough to make a playoff...
-
it is definitely better than it used to, but it also frigging slow. I wonder if a new NHL partner, SAP has anything to do with it, these brain-dead idiots can enthusiastically work out Ferrari-like idea into rotten Zaporozhec.
-
well, to be honest, it is not so much due to respect to the guy, but rather disgust feeling towards these ******* idiots who run NHL and some teams management as well
-
No, it was Letang.
-
My first reaction: it should've been Dan O'Halloran instead. My second reaction: damn! In NHL it very much depends. I remember an accident when a certain Penguin cross-checked referee and got away with it just fine.

damage his WHAT? reputation?! man, these people are ... delusional.

Tom Kowal (#32) played against Wings twice this year, Wings lost both: 11/14/2015 @BOS 1-3 and 10/27/2015 vs CAR 1-3 Brian Pochmara (#16) played against Wings three times this year, where Wings won 1: 11/25/2015 vs BOS 2-3 (OTL) 12/22/2015 vs NJD 3-4 12/26/2015 @ NSH 3-2 I don't really have anything to say about these two zebras. It usually means, they would fail the game remarkably. Unfortunately, I have a bad feeling about this game, but Wings can pull it anyway and prove my feelings were all about a little more than usual use of alcohol last weekend GO WINGS!! ps. WOW!! this was my 1000th post here!! Now I feel like Pasha!! -
GDT 1/17 GDT : Flyers (2) at Red Wings (1) Shoot Out
ami replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Yes, he got away clean, even as it turns out having a history of 5 game suspension. My understanding, Kronwall got his suspension due to his reputation and history on delivering lots of marginal hits. that's it. I don't believe if league considered that particular hit isolated from that history, he won't be suspended, especially for game 7. ps. i jsut love to watch these videos: http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=922917 2 games, for head shot, no history, not even blind site... Man, this league is not inconsistent, they are plain incompetent. -

Apparently he is on the way to develop another Cooke and NHL is helping him out. Just did a little research on our friend Ryan White: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=666339 ******* 5 games for a brutal head shot!! and he got clean with very similar although not so brutal hit here!! Do you still think it is too early to hunt him down? -

ok . let's compare cases with only one rule violation: principle point of contact it is. why one renders 3 game and another not even a fine ? http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=658671&catid=35 http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/flyers-white-ejected-for-hit-to-head-of-red-wings-jurco/ they say Burrows was fined 4 times, all due to his behavior not head shots/boarding/etc.
