Nope. I doubt we'll get any news on Abdelkader until gameday as this can be planned for by the Rangers. Hopefully he's good. He's a tough customer so it'll take a serious injury to sideline him for that game.

Re-watched the game as I was a lil groggy watching it initially(due to knee surgery). I can recommend a re-watch for the connoisseur. Lots of games within the game, such as Abdelkader vs Voracek, Simmonds very clearly hunting Larkin. Philly's forecheck vs the RW defence expecting it. And on top of that easily our best game of the season.

Very nicely done! NBCSN didn't show the octopus(es) as they were thrown in or lying on the ice. I just catched a glimpse of one when one of the girls skated away with it after the first goal. They were showing the goal and then the girl skating away with the pretty squid. That's national television for you.

Tense, intense, scruffy hockey game. Simmonds looking to cut Larkin's head off a couple of times but Abdelkader always there to give him a lovetap. Why isn't Richards getting more credits for tonights game though. He created the first two goals using his veteran play with some dirty elements mixed in. Very subtle and ingenious.

Wrote in another thread a couple of days ago, I think the Flyers are gonna crash our goalie tonight. Early in the game. To stir things up. Hope I'm wrong.

Took an afternoon nap so I can watch the game properly. We had a few days off. Could Kronwall possibly have healed up a little more? Our defense is the focus as they will be forechecked very hard. If we can overcome that, I say we win. If not we get blown out. Let's go boys this is it!

Pavel is old. Rather slow. Doesn't turn too well these days. And he's by far our best player. Elite puck handler and scares teams to shadow him with 2 defenders at age 38. Our most creative player. Always takes defensive responsibility. Steals pucks from top10 competition. Cannot be replaced. Even if he wants to go, I don't care. He's getting paid and he shouldn't go anywhere. Scare him or fondle him, whatever. We need what we pay for.
