Given the read, I must agree with the author piyer97. I'm curious, what do the LGW community think after having browsed that text? I agree, Howard doesn't perform up to his salary in shootout situations. Gotta fix that to par at least or simply shove him down to a backup position. I'll gladly take the lone point though, we did a good job overall against a good team in their arena. Larkin still looking damn good. Probably a little sore from Ovechkin's hit but he'll be fine after sleeping it out.

Yes he's referred to that on many shows and what not. Some just referred to him as "the second coming" and intentionally didn't use his name. Reading your comment I remembered to add another factor that speaks for Larkin - he's highly involved in making the team win games and stay in playoff contention. Should play a role if it keeps up.

Meh. Gotta voice in on this one. Already stated I don't want him winning. But I'd say he's up there with Domi and Panarin. If it keeps up like this for all those it's gonna be tight. Also doubt Connor McJesus gets it if they do. He has a lot of things going for him. The plus-rating, his placing and production on the top lines. Homegrown kid. Mature. Scores readily. I don't like it. If you catch my drift.

Our stars are 35+. You want them shooting out, not getting heart attacks. I played a pickup game Friday night, 4v4. Was about to again today around noon but it was too hot, the ice wasn't skateable. Next pickup Tuesday, weather permitting.

I prefer him playing in the AHL over playing in the 4th line. He's an NHL player when he proves it, certainly has the goods. I won't pester you more on that. I'll just sit back and observe this enigma, still have no idea what's going on in regards to this kid.

Nope that ain't right. It's not what I want, but I think this is how it's gonna pan out, given what Blashill has done in the past. I'll bet you if you wish. Jurco on line 2 or 3. Andersson on line 4. Athanasiou healthy scratch as backup.

Ok this is AHL-Jurco's chance, now or never. He'll get regular minutes on one of the top 3 lines. Make or break. Much like many has said, I see huge potential (top 6 such) but hasn't panned out at all. Give it your best, kid. Andersson will be slotted for Miller in all likelihood. We'll get a call-up. It will again most likely be Athanasiou.

Wings played great early on. This game should have been a clear regulation win. Sure, some luck involved with Buffalo's comeback, but not all of it is. They can't blow a 3-1 lead to 3-4. Simply can't. It's banana republic hockey.
