By the looks of things I would guess that many of the Red Wings partied last night, honestly. But Datsyuk and Mrazek stayed at home, carbing up. -

Total meltdown by all 5 skaters late in the 2nd in our own zone. Doesn't look good. -

Lol. Atleast we got away without eating a goal within 30 seconds. -

I predict Datsyuk as player of the day. -
Well he couldn't have gotten better linemates that's for sure. He should complement them well, on paper. Although there's a risk he'll become a grinder if they dump it in. But if there any 2 on the the team that won't have to do that it's Datsyuk and Richards.

LGRW! AHL-Jurco back in the lineup. Hope he gets slotted appropriately in the lineup. Extra lookey on him and of course on Datsyuk-Richards for some hand-magic. 12 bucks on the Red Wings moneyline to win 10. -
Nicely put. I've seen it to. It may come along, time will tell. A long time. For reference, DeKeyser is just starting with a little little bit of offense. But very strict with getting back to his position asap, double speed. Expect similar time frame for Marchenko if he passes the coaches eye tests.

<eats some chips> Dude can play. <pause> <eats some chips> What, you want me to say more? A russian defenseman who played some games. Point being for a new D-man we gonna have to wait until the end of the season for the report cards, Tricky those defenders.

According to your logic, I would assume Blashill would play Richards on the wing which Larkin centers. He does what he thinks is most beneficial to the team, right? That should mean that line would come up at some time during the season. If it does, nod to you, great organizer of talent. However I would put that chance to 0%. Meaning I deem it as the exact opposite. I guess time will tell.

Wouldn't surprise me :/ I think Talbot is starting in net though? -

Save % .906, 30th in the league. 2.85 Goals against. I think even Glendenning (a backhand) might get his first based on those numbers. -

Regarding Zetterberg. He looks heavy on the ice. He's gonna be fine, as in his old self, but it's gonna take more time than most, including me, thought. He's been hobbled a long time, I wouldn't expect the game to slow down for him until next year. -

Nice GDT, getting addicted to these, thanks! That's some nice young talent Edmonton has. No doubt they'll start winning soon. Not yet though. We should be able to ask for a good 2 points from our team, LGRW! -
Good morning, just want to thank you for posting, made me start the day with a laugh, which is never wrong. You wanna put a 35 year old Brad Richards winging "superspeed" Larkin? Take a short pause and envision him trying to skate to keep up to even count as part of the offensive. He'd have a heart attack or fake an injury up until summer.
-
Maybe only midget goales? Pulkkannon in goal? Opens a forward spot for AHL-Jurco.
-
He wasn't even close to a hat-trick. Based on that, it seems like he'd fit into our 4th line, grinding, in the corners. Joking of course. He's actually looking good. Hope it translates to the big league.

Extra lookey-lookey Richards - Datsyuk. Oldtimers take time to wind up. But these 2 can Play and should have some wind now. Heads up. -
Thanks Buppy, I got Rick Zomboed - thought we had to drop someone once Jurco returns. He will be competing against the bolded ones, given that Sheahan plays winger. If not not he's directly competing against hobgoblin pulk-cannon. But the fact that he Can hang around makes me resume my main stance - injuries will happen, probably sooner than later, and he will find himself in a game. Hopefully he'll be decently placed in the lineup (not 4th).
-
Agreed. It is an upcoming problem. I have no solution. Krsmith's solution regarding Miller/Sheahan seems the best one to me right now. Still don't like it. Almost want to "ignore it". Bottom line is I think Jurco has that "something". Don't wanna give him up. If we have to drop someone, Andersson or Miller has to be thrown out to the wolves. Not concerned about lineups at the moment my main concern is keeping that young chump Jurco in the organization. He needs a proper shot to dazzle.

Hehe - yep you know better roboturner. He was pulled because of a bad goal which probably was the dumbest coach move of international hockey. After that, all that could happen did, resulting in a win for the Lake Placid US 1980 team consisting of college kids. Including Craig of course, the goalie, a nice one at that. If Tretiak would've stayed in goal I bet things would have gone as usual - i.e. the Russian machine winning. But I love the upset, one of the biggest (could it be The biggest?) in sports history.

I hate seeing those empty seats on my crummy bedchamber TV in Stockholm. A direct nail in the eye that reminds me of the indian-caste system. No you fool not the american indians, the "real" indians, those in "India".
