Nah, I just say stupid stuff sometimes cause my brain is bad. I think Holland would've traded that 1st round pick for a Dman regardless if Quincey was still around. He was trying to plug the hole that a departing Brad Stuart was about to leave. He probably could've gotten a better Dman than Q with that 1st, but probably not anyone as bad as Meech. Or maybe our D would have been stacked with Q still around and Stuart leaving would be less of an issue. Who knows, hypotheticals are hard.
