Last pick of the draft Johnny E didn't have much of a chance either... look at the $4 mil man now

So you respect my opinion and it makes sense, but I'm baiting and trolling you? Baffling. Try to spin this however you want, I didn't bait you into anything and I'm being completely forthright. I'm trying to bring you back down to earth. I would love if you stopped "flying off the handle". I certainly don't encourage it. "no room for kids" "not team friendly" if you're going to use either of these to criticize Larkin's new contract I'm going to check you every time. The former has nothing to do with Larkin, and the later is IMO extremely off base. Sounds like you're abandoning the former, If you'd like to discuss the later I'm all ears.

Every man for himself, if you're family wants to eat they can smuggle their own. As my father used to say: "this is just one of those nights you don't eat dinner" Same as prison. Harsh but true. -
Dicks out for Broberg 2019

I love that we've abandoned the Troubas, Bogosians, Edlers, and Faulks of the world. This is the sign of a successful rebuild no?

I'm in love with how much of a big dumb dingus you are Genius draft pick by Holland. When Ericsson leaves the team we will have a big hole in the pylon department. Setkov should fill that nicley. Seems Ken learned a thing or two about planning for the future after not being able to replace Lids...

2018 Prospect Tournament and Training Camp
ChristopherReevesLegs replied to Neomaxizoomdweebie's topic in General
I'll agree he's faster than Franzen, just not fast enough to write home about. Wheeler is like compete level x1000. Talk about a well-rounded player, he is it. Mantha and Wheeler share size and shooting ability, but that's about it. I see Mantha as more of the finesse player Franzen was. Wheeler actually plays like an aggressive power-forward. I do not disagree -
Gotcha, I'll edit my OP to take Lafreniere out. Cozens is nice, but I prefer Broberg so far (also the name Broberg has so much meme potential, it's a can't miss) Podkolzin looks like the next Datsyuk/Kovalev to me, which is why he excites me more than Kakko and others.

Cook spaghetti and meatballs at home before hand and sneak it in in a freezer bag in your pants. No more high priced concessions. You're welcome. -

Zetterberg's status in 2 years. MOD WARNING PAGE 6

Does the tin man have a sheet metal cock? It's all speculation, that was my point. -
Keep grasping straws. There's literally nothing to complain about. It's like suddenly the team is doing what you griped about them not doing for years... rebuilding, committing to young players... and now you're forced to manufacture reasons to be mad. First this years draft, now Larkin's contract. When is it no longer the teams fault and just oneself being insatiable? He said Larkins contract isn't team friendly because it's not 6 years 5 million. I said why isn't AA's 3 years 2 million? I don't actually believe that to be the necessary, just parroting dumb logic with dumb logic to shed light on the point.

I agree more with KrSmith's evaluation of Mantha than I do Kips. Truly disagree that his passing and skating are underrated. He's average at both. Mantha is a shooter in a power-forwards body. I really think Franzen is a great comparison, and really think Wheeler is a terrible one. -
Yzerman vs Fedorov. Which one was better?
ChristopherReevesLegs replied to kickazz's topic in General
During the 13 years they played together (and only those years), Yzerman scored 1.13 points per game, and Fedorov scored 1.05 points per game. + Yzerman had the intangibles as talked about in this tread. Discussion settled. -
Cholowski and Dahlin suck and laze, now who's the edgelord you f***in *******

You had me hooked till the last 5 word damn you He's new Franzen. I've been saying it since draft day. However, I need him to go on a playoff series beast mode hot streak now though to prove that. I see two paths before this kid... we force him to become the power-forward his size tempts us to want from him, or we allow him to be the lil softy finesse sniper he was born to be. Maybe something in between... I say we let him float around the circles and snipe and just forget he was ever tall, but then also rip his ass apart whenever he's not in the crease. Top 6 forward Next -

Could be. I think there's a tendency for most people to try and find the watchmaker in most things they care about though. I do it myself sometimes. Could also easily be a man who's played through a tough injury and is finally considering giving up the game he loves. Guess we'll only know what's reported. -
I'm curious as to what you think the average $6 million dollar forward gets in points each year

Your concerns about Larkins D are real. IMO he doesnt blow at all, i would say theres room for growth thou. 55 pt guy? Not a chance. His offensive gifts are well beyond that, i dont think thats even up for debate. Hes a player who should flirt with 80 pts in his prime. Hopefully he can match that talent level on D at some point.
