Wow huge return this is awesome lol

Kane to SJ for a 1st, prospect, conditional 4th EDIT:
-
I was initially disappointed with the return on Vanek. But in retrospect I see why it was what it was. I was super guilty of over-hyping Vanek at the time. He was a top-9 offensive-specialist, nothing more nothing less. He went on to play pretty badly for Florida as I recall. Found his place with the Sedins this year.
-
That's my point. Holland didn't say it. I don't care what some mongrel around here said to you.
-
Personally, I think he's done really well at selling so far. If he moves Green for a good price today I will consider the last 2 seasons two successful sell-offs/hauls. However, he's had trhe luxury to sell in two up-markets I think so far. I would like to see what he can get in a down-market before I can really assess his ability to sell.
-
Keyword in that sentence: "we've" Teams change their makeup every year. Some get bigger and meaner (some smaller and nicer). But that doesn't equate to trading a roster player just because "we've" debated the possibilities of it.
-
Anyone care to explain why Blues moved Statsny (are they out of the playoffs?) and why Hawks moved Hartman? I think moving McDonagh, Karlsson, and Pacioretty, is dumb in respect to each of their teams.
-
This is the 2nd time we've been sellers at the deadline in 20+ years. So when you say "every TDL" you mean last year right? Anyway if Calgary and Winnipeg wanna make an offer sweet, I just think it's smarter to add term commitments in the summer when the waters are clear. But to each GM, their own. Prices seem to be up again this year. Papa like.
-
Unfortunately I think the term is too much to consider for most teams on both these players. Tatar and Gus are more likely to move at the draft or in the summer, when teams have a clearer picture of where they are going for the next year.
-
Heck, I deserve to be spoiled a little. Sun-dried tomato alfredo it is.
-
It's not deadline day until I've gotten at least 1 kill yo self remark. Thanks n god bless.
-
Goys, what should I make for lunch? Linguine with alfredo sauce, or linguine with a sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce? I also have a tri-color rotini The pasta-bilities are endless
-
Karlsson should never have been considered for trade in the first place. I guarantee Melnyk will f*** this up. I haven't heard anything about Foote, but I heard somehwere that if Yzerman goes for Karlsson, Namestnikov is likely in the mix much to Stevies dismay
-
I agree with you. Best case scenario is Karlsson doesn't move and McDonagh moves quickly. whoa calm down dude
-
I really don't think anyone besides Green will move today. Maybe Glendening, but I really doubt it.
-
Ottawa needs to s*** or get off the pot with Karlsson. Hoping Florida will scoop up McDonagh quick. Then we can get this Green bidding war going. Sounds like he's approved a trade to TBL or Washington. The two teams also interested in Karlsson.
-
I took the day off today to enjoy this deadline. First off, let's all please remember the only player that NEEDS to be traded today is Mike Green. Anyone else is a little bonus. That being said Karlsson and McDonagh are really gonna f*** things up for us.

Mrazek traded to Philly for Conditional 3rd and 4th Picks

Then we didn't he just outplay Howard? That was all he needed to do. If he's so much better, why couldn't he? -
The concept for the new arena involves 2 dual jumbotrons hanging from each end of the ice. ******* heathens.
-
Now you're being defensive about being defensive I think I've pretty well demonstrated why your comparison made no sense. That's why I was initially confused. Do I really have to explain the connection between the two?

Bolded 1: If you don't have a source, it didn't happen. No one's taking your word for it. If you have bits and pieces share the source on the bits and pieces, I don't want just your personal interpretation of the source. Bolded 2: Share the source. Again, I'm not going to take your interpretation of this mysterious source as doctrine. You need to share where your getting this info. -
Jesus you're defensive. Yeah that's my point, it didn't make any sense at all to mention Lidstrom lol glad we can finally acknowledge that. Which is why I was confused as to what your original point on Potvin and the other players was....

If Draper is the next GM, I don't think I mind it

Drinking a nice single malt and smokin dope right at this moment f*** on me -
Bolded is my point. I don't care about Karlsson. 1st rounders all receive hype. 3rd rounders receive none, so there's not a point to argue. To the bolded point, the logic doesn't make sense. It's literally apples to oranges. In the first sentence you establish that we are talking about the level of hype these players receive. Then in the second sentence you state, therefore I chose 3 of the best dmen. The parameters change from hype to best.. Comparisons occur between two things sharing the same quality, not two different things and two different qualities. An actual comparison would be: Comparing Dahlin's hype to the hype of the 3 most hyped players of all time (hype hype hype). Or the 3 most hyped Dmen of all tiome. Or the 3 most hyped Swedish Dmen of all time. Whatever. You get my point. Anyways I dont care too much about this particular point in general, but this is why I was confused about Potvin and Lidstrom. It's a flawed comparison.
