The Florida Panthers Send Owen Tippett Back To OHL 1 point and -6 in 7 NHL games

Big-bodied goal-scorer was what I was going for. He has that in common with Perry, minus the on-ice antics obviously. Although he did drop Sergachev like a G. Couldn't think of a better comparison for a big C/RW combo other than Perry and Getzlaf
-
Just wanna point out. Mantha now has 52 pts in 85 career games played. 13 pts in 15 GP this year. Kids a stud-muffin. He's gonna be our Corey Perry and Big Ras is gonna be our Ryan Getzlaf.

After Holland is gone and moves up, sooner or later, who's next? The shoe-in seems to Draper, however he has only been around during the demise of the Red Wings front office. Yzerman is the long shot that most fans want, but does he really want to come here and risk destroying his HOF reputation in Detroit like Sakic has done in Colorado? But what about the dark horse, and the real reason I'm starting this thread, Sergei Fedorov? He is currently GM of CSKA Moscow and from what I understand he's done well. Putin basically charged him with returning Moscow to Red Army glory (if that's even possible). His contract as GM of CSKA just so happens to be up at same time as Kenny's. He's expressed interest in being a GM in North America. I believe he has also stated that at that point, he would like to reside in US full time. In the last year the Wings have openly discussed that they need to think about putting 91 in the rafters, and at the time, it seemed like those statements came out of nowhere. So what if we retired 91 and appointed him GM after Holland? Anyone like this idea?

You have to wonder what the person who invented science would think about this. I doubt he expected his humble invention to be used for hockey.

11/05 GDT : Detroit Red Wings @ Edmonton Oilers : 4:00 PM ET

They have some tough waters to navigate ahead. McDavid's 12.5 cap hit kicks in next year. They will have 15 million to fill 8 roster spots, and that's with zero player scratched, so more like 9 to 10 roster spots. That's about 1.5 per roster spot to spend. And that doesn't sound tooooo awful... until you consider the RFAs they have to re-sign which include R. Strome and Nurse. I assume Strome will end up being let go or traded, but Nurse could ask for some money, reducing what they can give others. They're certainly not going to be able to make any big or meaningful additions in FA. They have to be smart drafting cause they're gonna need ELC player to fill spots. Blackhawks were smart about that, Penguins eventually got smart at that. Edmonton has some questionable history drafting, especially with all their high picks so naturally I hope they get f***ed in the ass -

Abdelkaders and Zetterbergs both only had 1 assist? WOW, waste of about 10 million dollars right there. Tatar on the other hand had 0 goals and 0 assists and makes 1 million more than Abdelkader. But he's newer and provides more grit than Abs so it's ok I think. Mrazek looking like the Vezina winning goalie we remember -

Tool Showing Scoring Locations By Player Interesting tool. Haven't been through all the Red Wings yet, but checked Zberg and looks like he predominantly scores on the right side of the net. I'm sure there's some other tendencies, like Abdelkader scoring most goals in and around the crease etc.

I forgot the password to my online mail, but my father lives in mississippi now. Certain he still has the tapes though.

BlueAdams lines thread, GET IN HERE! So this lineup is not what I'd like to see, but is lines based on playing time per game so far this year: Tatar - Zetterberg - Nyquist Abdelkader - Larkin - Mantha Helm - Nielsen - Frk Booth - Sheahan - Glendening Witkowski Daley - Green Dekeyser - Kronwall Ericsson - Ouellet Jensen The big takeaways from this I see are: 1. Larkin is getting significant more ice time this year. Up about 3 minutes a game from last year. Only forward with more ice time a game is Zetterberg, and he only trails Zberg by a little over a minute. That pretty huge considering the work horse ice time Zberg gets. Seems like Blashill finally trusts Larkin to be a 2C. 2. There's a big drop in ice time after Zetterberg, Tatar, Nyquist, Larkin, and Abdelkader... with Mantha appearing to be the 6th forward in the top 6 (for now). It looks like the top 5 are solidified, but I could see any of Frk, Helm, Nielsen cycling up into Mantha's spot when Blashill juggles. 3. Nielsen and Sheahan, for how much they get paid, are playing s*** for minutes. 4. Daley and Green appear to be are most trusted defenders and are playing significantly more than the rest of the D. Daley was a good signing for this team. 5. Blashill has barely played AA at all, and the guy looks invisible out there, what's going on there?

Lefty. He outlasted me with his superior economics. I was forced to dissolve and change my name to Russia. Now we dont fight too much, unless its him blaming me for influencing the draft against Tippett. -

I'd like to take a look at Frk's heat map, but I don't think he's listed. -
