I liked Eaves more at the time. I saw them as the same player, but Eaves was RH so i gave him the edge. Thinking back, there were some points where Babs played Eaves on the top line next to Dats and Z. But that never really worked out and was very short lived. Dallas is having a down year but i guess Eaves on the top line has worked for them? Maybe thats why theyre bad. But anyway, Miller hasnt had the same oppurtunities or line mates that Eaves has had. Kinda hard to compare. I dont know how Miller would look next to Jamie Benn.

Making the playoffs is the literal goal of the regular season. That is our goal right now. If you want to call that keeping the streak alive ok. I am for keeping the streak alive. The tanking community will have you believe that the only way to win another cup is to end the streak. That is not the case.

Bingo bango. I dont actually want to trade Mrazek. Its a dumb move to trade either goalie at this point. But if anyone insists that Howard MUST GO, Im going to counter with all the reasons why Mrazek MUST GO. The years of fawning over Mrazek by the fanbase has created this pro mrazek anti jimmy echo chamber amongst most fans. And now the slip ups by Mrazek have really exposed that with people bending over backwards to defend Petrs bad play. Reality is theyre both decent goalie assets with different strengths and weaknesses. And theyre both Red Wings and I love them both. The goalie market is not going to move at all until Bishop moves, one of the PIT goalies moves, and Vegas makes their selections. Then we may see an oppurtunity to unload a goalie. Maybe.
