Kasper was a solid 200' stud and BearGrin looked really showed his playmaking skill and scoring prowess even if his defensive game still lacks. Thoughts?

Watched game one of the CHL -USA Prospects Challenge. (Canada won 6-1) The skill level was really good considering most will be first round picks in the 2025 draft, adding in a small number of Euros. IF you can, stream the TSN feed, game 2 starts tonight at 6:30. Looking at Tankathons top 10 board I think anyone in the top 3 is fantastic, Martone, Hagens & Schaefer. 4-10 really good, 11-17 pretty decent. 18-24 probably better than most years in this range.

Yep it's an exciting situation all-round. Another solid kid in next years draft can only help. Mgmt said they thought we overachieved last season, so regression was expected. If our goalies sucked, we would be in line for a top 5-6 pick.

I think Kane would net you a 2nd rounder to a cup contender that wants their PP to be lethal... if he waives his NTC. Tarasenko is tougher because he has a 2nd year attatched to him. Talbot is worth a 1st if we're patient enough and injuries hamper a contender.

Take it easy West Coast. I don't want you to confuse our drafting with our FA signings and coaching choices. SY- good drafting and SY- crappy FA signings for the most part. GR has a good developmental coach that evaluates the kids there pretty honestly. The waves of kids coming will take the spots of everyone you're crapping on. Patience grasshopper. We need to jetison some folks at the TDL if possible, including Kane (ntc) and anyone that sucks on the defence and probably Talbot as well.

So McGroarty gets sent down by the Pens after reportedly wanting out of Winnipeg unless they guarantee him a spot on their roster. I'm guessing he or his agent told the Pens he wants more ice time, so they sent him down to get just that....lol
