Tradecentre just said prices are dropping and will continue to drop as it gets closer to 3. i said yesterday by time Holland makes a move it'll be after 2 and after prices fall! Get ready for a 6th for Green!

Holland is just ironing out the conditions of the 6th round pick. If Tampa wins the Cup and Mike scores 10 goals, gets the Conn Smythe and does a piroeutte after every goal, it'll become a 2025 5th.

True, but we've also listened to him say stuff for years like, change the makeup of the team, get bigger, get meaner, etc...so when we've debated every year about what we can trade away to get something we need, that also always ends up being draft, then summer, then TDL, the draft, then summer...etc. point is, every TDL it's said player X will be better dealt at the draft, then summer, then training camp. When that doesn't happen, it's said they'll be better traded at the TDL. It's doesn't happen, then....ya, you get it.

Same stuff we hear every TDL. Then come summer we hear they are best moved at the TDL. FWIW, Calgary and Winnipeg had said the want players with term, not rentals. Ok kenny, down to 1.5 hours. If you got something, give it to us.

What I don't get is Yzerman has said he isn't trading anyone from the roster or Foote, so how else would be acquire Karlsson? He may as well give us that 1st for Green and get him down there. Ok.

One thing that will be worse that not trading anyone, is accepting crap in return. Like I said, with the prices today, if we trade Green Nyquist and Tatar, that should give us 4 total 1sts. But I have a feeling well have 6 3rds instead. So yes, what I'm saying is if teams are gonna try to fleece us, is rather keep everyone. But Kenny is so easily fleeced. I think he'd be making a mistake not approving a trade to Vegas...if they showed interest.

I don't know where this comes from. Not even freaking or cursing today. But it is amazing these returns for lessor players than the ones we have "on the block." But hey, we all know Holland can't make a good deal. He still has a couple hours to make us believe he is a good GM.
