We have s*** for draft picks. Holland still thinks drafting unheard of kids out of 2nd tier leagues in later rounds constitutes building via draft. If we had 2 1st and 2 2nds, then I'd be more on his side. f*** 17 3rd round picks...and I don't care which round they got Z and D in, that kind of miracle is not happening again. Holland needs to step off that merry go round.

Maybe the organization knows something about it's other younger goalies. I'm a huge Mrazek slappie, but in the end it's a business. We'd lose $4M in cap and we'd keep our younger players up front and on D. I'd still he was an idiot for not protecting Mrazek, but, whatever, we all knew that for years now...

That better be speculation. First no deals to ditch a contract to better our team, now protecting Howard over Mrazek...and he says he has his eye in the playoffs? Not with Ericsson and Howard taking up valuable cap and roster spots. I'm going back to what I said before, but them both out. The hit is very minimal over the length of the extended term. That just means we'll lose a sub-million dollar contract and be stuck with Ericsson and Howard. Yet he says he wants to draft and develop, but won't pay a small price to guarantee he is able to retain Nosek, XO, Jensen, Sproul etc... He'll lose the talented Nosek when he could've possibly traded a pick away to guarantee losing $4Mish in cap...yep, that's Holland. Come deadline, a recovering Ericsson, Helm or Howard will be our acquisition. He must feel his vets will get him back to the playoffs instead of opening up cap to make your team better. Oh well....

That being said, he will be Holland's one year contract to prove himself, then be traded at the deadline.

Larkin needs to be handed the reigns of a top 2 center, with great linemates. AA-Larkin-Tippett Sounds great to me!

So they take David Clarkson, a guy who won't ever play, plus they get a 1st and a prospect? Good luck offering up one of our 3rds to get them to take injury prone Helm, Howard or Ericsson. We'll lose Nosek or XO/Jensen, maybe Sheahan giving us little to no cap relief, and we'll be stuck with the hot garbage from last season...nice. ...and fluery gets to celebrate for 2 weeks...hahaha!
