I'm a big fan of the kids, you know that, but there has to be something else about those two. They haven't seen nhl ice, not even once. Jensen sat in the pressbox for a game. I just think they aren't going to get their opportunity in Detroit. I think if they don't upgrade at the #1 spot, they re-sign KFQ, trade Smith or E and this kid is going great given the big look to take a spot.

While I like the idea, I have hard time seeing them sit Richards, even though he has been just as invisible as a lot of players, I think Jurco gets sat if Mantha comes up. Although, I think maybe giving Nyquist or Tatar a night or 4 off may get them the message...but it may be too late with only 16 more games left...
