What would you guys think of Kenny if he got Franson for a pick and prospect, then acquired Jagr for a pick? Do you think that would help us up front? Guess the playoff experience and leadership from Jagr couldn't hurt for a run at it, would it?

I also like that quote. Which is why initially when we heard that TO wanted a 2nd and a NHL ready prospect, I was thinking our 2nd and Marchenko. But that may be a bit overpayment for a rental. Not that I don't think Cody would not re-sign here, but there are a lot of teams out there willing to throw a ton of money at players! Then we would be out Marchenko. Now, if we were talking a 2nd and an offensive player, I would rest a little easier losing a Ferraro, Aubry type player for a rental. But, I think there are teams out there that could offer a bit more than that.

Franson turned down $5.5M(I believe) from TO, although I think that maybe that was just a kind way of saying he wants out! I can see him getting $6Mish somewhere. Could it be here? Stay tuned!

I will leave that for others to answer, but I will just add that I have worked at DTW since 1991 and have met FAR too many of those to even begin to list. I miss the days where teams didn't have the own jets and traveled via commercial airline!

Nevermind, the rumor originated from the @HockeyInsiderr twitter account... I still think we could move our 1st rounder for one year for something we need now and not endanger our future with all the talent we have developing. I think it would be worth the risk. Without looking over the last few pages, it is rumored that TO wants a 1st rounder for Franson. Does anyone think Holland would do it? I believe that we have enough up and coming talent that we could afford to miss one 1st round at the chance to make our team immediately better, thoughts?

I get around 7 hours Tuesday-Friday. I work two 17 our shifts on Sat/Sun and an 8 on Mon. I get about 4 hours Sat/Sun night... They were introduced in the VD, but their show "The Originals" in a million times better! Less "love story" more action! They are the Original Vampires. Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah are bad assess, Klaus is actually a hybrid Vamp/Wolf. Kol and Finn are no longer Vamps, they are witches. It's complicated.... It's my guilty pleasure, sue me! Honestly if Franson did get traded here and then signed long term, I could pretend that it was the same Franson the entire time and pretend the horrible Choice never happened. He would for sure make me forget about the other guy...

KRSmith, again, would you give up Smith for Franson? You seem to know a ton about him (and I am not disputing that at all) and you think he is better than all 6 of our starters, then why not offer up Smith to guarantee we land him?

I would think it may take a bit more than Ferraro to land Franson. (easy kip, I am not going to mention anything about underpayment, ) Seriously though, if they are asking for a 2nd and a really good prospect, maybe we could send the 2nd and Marchenko or Jensen? If you had to then add Ferraro-ish type player to maybe up the bid a little, that would be good too. Holland could address the D log jam over the summer.

I simply said Q and K and another Roster player will no longer be Wings and Petry and Green will. Plus you absolutely did not understand the alcohol reference, it shows in your reaction post.
