Really, do the Wings have a choice? We really never replaced Raffie, now Lids is collecting a pension, and Stewie caught a plane out west, what are our options? Other organizations KNOW we are in need and that will make the prices go up.... Supply and demand... Next few days there will be a lot of hype, articles, and posts.... Make some popcorn and grab a chair folks, it is going to be an interesting ride.

There are high hopes and expectations due to the fact we need more offense even if Hudler was to stay (he is more than likely gone). Realistically, we need a top 6 forward or two... Unless Kenny gets Parise or someone else of equal caliber, Brunner will be scrutinized heavily. The guy may need a season to adjust and see how things turn out... Don't put all your eggs into one basket folks if he doesn't become the next Teemu or Stamkos. -
I am not that big on Quincey and really hope we land Suter, Schultz, and Garrison... Yes, all three... Abby would be benefit most at wing... Dump, chase, check...

I think Holland is waiting to see who he can land or trade for via July 1st, see how much pocket change he has remaining after persuing more immediate needs.

My guess is that Goose and Brunner will get a lot of playing time as Huds is on his way out and there is still a big question mark if Eaves can even play.... -

Best to luck Stewie, you will be missed. On a side note, the Wings were doing Stuart favor by sending him to a West Coast Team, that just shows you they care about their players. Not many employers like that.
