They both look lethargic after the stupid 4 Nations thingy. Always felt that the 4 Nations killed our momentum as we were on a bit of a roll in Jan(10-3). We were 3 - 1 going into the break 2 weeks later the wheels pretty much come off the bus. Which begs the question why do the wheels come off mid Feb into March? Correct me but this meltdown has happened the last 3 years with 2 different coaches. Close to the same roster so is it lack of focus/youth/lack of faith?/not getting help at trade deadline?

Soooo as we arrange the deck chairs on the Titanic of a season. At what point if at all should we put Holl on waivers or move Shine back down and bring up some youth from GR? What is the tipping point ?

Don't perceive my "depression" over this skid as giving totally up but the storm clouds are gathering on the horizon. I wouldn't expect Mrazek and Smith to pull us across the line be happy to be wrong but.... I am more disappointed at the players that have been here done that said the same things the last couple of years. Then go out and have the same blah performance or zero fire after things go south like against the Caps.

I think if we lose this one it's almost time to fold the tents of this circus of a season. Bring up kids get them some experience and start looking at dropping to get a better pick. I don't understand its about the same time the last 3 years we have a meltdown. Two different coaches, different players etc is there something happening to the water in Detroit causing the issue?

Leaving Columbus this morning. We had seats at the end where Det shot at twice. Was weird as they pumped the sounds of the skates into the stadium speakers Lots of Wings fans for sure as we as a fanbase travel well. the shoe is as Larkin said is a pit with the bathrooms being troughs. Did remind me of the Joe and Tiger stadium. Issue was to not look at the dude across from you let alone on the sides was a fun event sad on the loss. We discussed on ride home with the family who are jackets fans even said Det should have won if wishes were fishes we would be in WC 1 spot

Next 2 games could be interesting 4 points on the line as far as WC spots. I definitely need a win on Sat as going with Ohio family members. Best part is I know when my pee break will be. Either one of the WC spots should be the goal with the stretch goal being 3rd in Division. Frankly if they get the playoffs period I will consider this a successful season even if we get swept first round.

No disagreement on the thought but it's the what do you have to give up for those assets? I am willing to ride out no changes unless it's too good of a deal to pass up and wait till FA. Wow site is back up and so are the Wings from the first part of the season. Sens have a game in hand but we are only sitting a point behind them(Go Preds tonight). Tampa has 2 games in hand with 2 meteorite games Tues/Thurs as both are against the Sens. Meteorite game is one where you wish both teams to lose. Beat the Kraken tomorrow then beat Tampa on Sat and we will be in a good spot before the stupid 4 nations killing of momentum tourney.
