Giving points to the loser is like everyone gets a trophy at the end of the game. How many times have you seen a team simply play to make it to OT why because they get a point. I say a win is a win a loss is a loss. You get 2 points for a win whether it happens in reg time/OT and forget the shoot out(not just cause we suck at it). If you are still tied at the end of OT then have a tie teams split the 2 points 1 each and go on to the next game. I am sure the standings would be a lot different if that happened.

Not making up any stats was referring to the Buffalo game only as folks were talking about SO and avoiding it. But in the small sample size of the 3 games you talk about that Petr has played in as "starter" and technically the first was in relief. Record is 1 loss in relief, 1 loss in SO, 1 win with goal support. At this point I simply think the sample size is too small to know how the worm will turn.
