OK. So. Here's the roster as it stands right now: https://nhl.bamcontent.com/images/assets/binary/300568556/binary-file/file.pdf 13 F (not counting Svechnikov) + 7 D (not counting Green, who's reportedly weeks away from being ready) + 2 G = 22 players. Add Svechnikov and we have 14 forwards and 23 players. All of which is to say: It seems like Svechnikov has indeed made the team. On the other hand, Daley and Kronwall and Ericsson are listed on that roster and it sounds like at least two of them won't be playing Thursday. So...I dunno. More moves coming?

To be fair, omitting the "the" in a title like that is common practice. Everyone does it and has been doing it from time immemorial. What really grinds my gears about the HSJs of the world -- and this is also common practice -- is that they write their stories before they've even asked their questions in their media scrums. All they need is quotes, and they get the quotes they want by asking questions that they know will get them those answers. It's masturbatory hackery.

Eh, It's probably a moot point anyway, as I have a hard time seeing Blashill sticking all three of our veteran grinders on the same line and then giving that line paltry fourth-line minutes.
