I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Leafs will score a lot of goals this season. Oh, wait. I think I just got the joke.

It's almost like comparables are a thing or something.

2013-14 -- .917 Sv% in 61 games (PHI) 2014-15 -- .928 Sv% in 51 games (PHI) 2015-16 -- .918 Sv% in 54 games (PHI) Fell off a bit last year, posting .908 in 58 (PHI). But I thought he'd established himself as a pretty respectable starting goalie.

Ehlers, Laine, Trouba, Scheifele, Morrissey...the Jets have an enviable young core. Little, Wheeler, Byfuglien...the Jets have a few very good veterans. Steve Mason is a decent starting goalie, so I don't think "Yeah, well, our goaltending sucks, so what can you do *shrug*" is going to fly anymore. If the Jets don't take a step forward this season, their fans should rage at the front office. At the very least, they could give us Trouba. It's not like they're putting him to good use.
