Suter Parise Garrison Gaustad (Harding?) I'm guessing this is roundabout Kenny's best-case wishlist, in approximate order. I think Suter is a near-lock to come here. Parise, not so much - but not so far from it, really. The big difference, I feel (and, granted, I could be way off-base here), is that Suter wants out of Nashville, whereas Parise is perhaps not quite so keen on leaving NJ. If he can pry himself away from the Devils, I think he's ours. Now, watch them both go to Minnesota. [/jinx]

I've heard Boston is considering moving Lucic. The Powers That Be feel he's a playoff bust, or something. That's why I think the price for him wouldn't be near-astronomical. Whereas the Ducks couldn't be more attached to Corey Perry (and for good reason).

Well, wasn't putting a whole lot of thought into it - because the ultimate point (on which we can all agree) is it'd cost something near-astronomical to land him. I'd love, love, love for him to be a Wing, but it's not gonna happen. (Not by way of trade, at least....) If we're gonna trade for a legitimate power-forward type, we should go for Lucic. He's having a rough go of it; we could probably snag him for something not entirely ridiculous.

Some combination of Franzen/Filppula/Nyquist/Smith/1st rounder for Perry. EDIT: I see I've been negged several times. To be clear: I'm not saying we should trade all of the above for Perry. I was saying, e.g., Filppula + Nyquist + a 1st.

Holland will never float an offer sheet - and I'm pretty ok with that, because, karma-wise, there's no doubt it'd come back to bite the Wings in their collective ass. And besides, like Buppy said, it's an extremely slanted system. Why not try to trade? (For the record, I'd love to see EK become a Wing.)
