I can't watch E. Its not that he's overpaid that bothers me, just that he is horrid. Wings are better off with anyone other than him at this point.

We've gone years without a meaningful trade the last thing I want to see is Holland honing his trade skills on any one of those three. Draft and grow the D, I'd rather see the big three on lock down for years to come. Mantha, Larkin and AA are the reason I watch Wings and I want to watch them for years to come.

Disturbing how management put out some unkind words regarding Mantha and his development. For having such awesome young talent Detroit has done a very poor job in fostering a rapport with them.

With the right coach these kids would be spectacular. Really enjoy watching AA, Mantha, Larkin and Frk. They better clear the deadwood and get these kids under long term deals.

AA is an offensive force but rode the pine for large periods of time cause he wouldn't play defense. I guess Tatar on Defense makes sense.

Seems more like Holland's folly is collecting average forward talent and overpaying them in follow-on contracts. Just because you draft kids and wait 6-7 years doesn't mean you are on a solid path to championships.

I'm just glad we got rid of Sheahan, should have been done months ago but its finally done. Free up that ice time for someone who can use it and take that option away from Blashill during power plays lol.

Next year Mantha and Larkin will be junior guys not worth investing coin on either right? Will everyone quickly bid them adios when they ask for $4Mill each? AA was a bright spot last year constantly in Blashill's dog house due to his defense as a forward and an after thought in negotiations due to Holland's past bad contracts and inability to make a trade. Tatar shouldn't have been signed and Nyquist, Nielsen or Sheahan dealt. If things are tight now what happens next year when Holland's GM skills are on display again with an even worse cap situation? Sorry AA you deserved a better fate both from a coach and from an organization.

The problem isn't signing Daley. That was an excellent move. The problem is stockpiling worthless talent on overpaid contracts and never making a trade when needed. AA, Mantha and Larkin are the future. I'm not sure why we need to keep treating them all like garbage and telling them to leave if they don't fit Holland's crappy old world negotiating style. I hope AA signs for 2 years $3Mill per and Holland is forced to trade Sheahan or Nyquist.

AA was one of the only few worth a damn last year. He signs every other idiot but takes a stand on the one guy I like watching. Maybe I can find an AK Bars link to see until Holland leaves.
