You would think this would be a good thing, but nope. The Wings are notorious for playing down to the opposition, Babs needs to get them in gear.

Pretty disappointing to not show up against the Sabres. At least we got a loser point, hopefully we go back to playing the way we have so far this year against OTT. Also, Franzen is lazy and he sucks.

The team is just a joy to watch this year win or lose. They compete to the final whistle, every night. It's a combo of removing dead weight from last year, sticking with the kids, and having our stars healthy. May not win the Cup, but it's gonna be a fun season.

What a crazy game. Gotta love the way this team competes until the end. Fresh change this season. Z, Dats and Kronner are nuts.

Man, I wish Babs would give him a chance to get going. I know Nestrasil played good in the PS, but so far he's been along for the ride more then anything. Credit to him for making the roster, but I'd like to see Weiss. Remember Helm playing on the wing in the PS? What happened to that? I'd like to see Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Helm Nyquist-Weiss-Abdelkader Tatar-Sheahan-Jurco Miller-Glendening-Andersson/Nestrasil Dano But that's just me. It's a long season and clearly we don't need him right now, but I think if we could get him going in anyway would be good.

Never seen Z have two bad games in a row, sure enough! He was fantastic tonight. Jimmy played good too. Lets sweep these losers tomorrow.

Lucic is an embarrassment to the power forwards of yesteryear. He's a spot picker when it comes to fighting, takes cheap shots with both hits and his stick, and just has the attitude of a big baby. I can't stand the guy, this is par for the course. When Chara retires, it's "uh oh" time in Boston.

Usually Q is the guy making the brutal passes, but Kindl put it in Q's skates about 5 times last night. He just doesn't think the game well, any of the kids would be a welcome change to Kindl. Hopefully he's gone sooner rather then later.

Crowd was awesome, majority of the team was good. Kindl can go to f***. Only one game in, but Jimmy looks different. Last year the Bruins tie it in the last minute, not tonight. Hope he keeps it up

Glad for him. Jersey is the right kind of system for him to be effective in, just like his last few years in Nashville.

If Holland can get Kindl out, and XO in for Thursday all is good. Let us hope. Kids are the way back to the top.

No where did I say the Islanders franchise were model, nor better then the Wings. Didn't compare Garth to Kenny either, you did that. Hell, I didn't even say their defense is better then ours. All I said was Garth at least tries, he's quite the idiot usually, but today not so much. I'm sure Holland does lots of work behind the scenes, but nothing ever comes of it. Don't jump all over me for a sentence haha. Once in a while, I wouldn't mind seeing Kenny take a chance in a trade. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't but it's better then bringing back the same roster from last year that didn't do a whole lot. Now, if one of the kids gets a spot in the top 6 and Kindl is on the bench then I won't really care either way. If we're going to be mediocre again this season, I'd rather see young guys playing because the sooner they're in the lineup, the sooner we're one of the top teams in the East.

Nestrasil, Callahan, Ouellett... please stay in the NHL.

Rather just play Marchenko. But since the Wings seem opposed to young D getting any ice this year, rather him then Kindl.

Weiss has been working with Gary Roberts all summer as well, done wonders for guys like Stamkos, Neal, Benn, etc. Even if it just ups his endurance and can help him stay healthy, it'll be huge. I'm of the opinion the guy is gonna have a huge bounce back.
