My rational side is screaming big loss tonight against a hot Canadiens team. The fan in me wants a 4-0 win and Mrazek to gain back every bit of confidence he didn't have last night and push forward with a big win under his pads. Let's see what you got Petr, big challenge and weak defense in front of you. This is going to need to be more of a stolen game, granted he gets goal support. Lets go wings, get back on the right track against a quality team.

I agree, getting rid of him isn't the answer. His inconsistency has stemmed way back to the end of the regular season last year, so there has to be a line from calling it inconsistent to maybe just saying he had a hot month and this is really what we are gonna get from Petr going forward. Who knows, I don't. It's coming down to him now, and his play, and how he presents himself going forward. If it's inconsistency, then he is very much due for a hot streak again. If not, maybe Mrazek isn't our future in net after all, as much as that pains me to say. For me as a fan, and the sake of the team, I hope he shines going forward and we are right back on pace for what a lot feel is his future and career with this organization.

If this is how he reacts after getting time off, he won't be a starter. It's no different than coming back from injury, or the offseason, or even the All-Star break. Do we just take a few losses each time he doesn't play for a week at a time and allow him time to "warm up"? This is a bad excuse for someone playing at the highest professional level of any sport.

Mrazek looked really bad last night coming off the bench, it's very concerning. He was showing visible signs of frustration, and let in a couple of stinkers and nearly a 3rd on that shot that rang off the post. All he's proven to me this season is he is nowhere near ready to take on full work load, and he needs to change his game drastically and step up right now. I don't buy into the excuse at all that he hasn't played for a week, as a starter, you go into any situation ready to play, period. Start off tonight and take this game that we likely shouldn't win, and build from there. If not, i'm not opposed at all to see what Coreau can bring to the table and get a start or two himself. I wasn't sold on Mrazek last year, sure he had one great month, and then went downhill pretty quick. He needs to do more, and prove in this opportunity with Howard down that he can remain mentally stable and be a solid goalie, and not act like he did last night.

I agree with this honestly. In the NFL you lose a challenge you lose a timeout. There should be the risk of penalty when submitting a challenge. For me, the challenge system really hurt the pace and intensity of the NHL playoffs last year and it was mildly upsetting.

Disagreed entirely. Wings are on their heels, Abdelkader was to the book interfered with, the boys are getting knocked around and the only calls are going against the Wings. Ott was doing his job stepping in, trying to brawl and fire up his squad and change the momentum. That's what goons do. I'd redirect the frustration to the officials.

Nielsen starting to look a lot more like Nielsen tonight. Probably the one guy i've been most frustrated with because I know how high quality of a player he really is and he's had a slow start with us.

Figures, our best player this season is down. It's Mrazek's responsibility to now step up huge and prove he deserves a shot, no excuses.

I think our offense finally opens up a bit tonight and we put up a solid 5 goals to their 2. Mantha, Larkin x2, Nielsen, and Green with the goals. LGW!

It really, really depends on the true direction of this team. If it were up to me, try to get a 3rd for him unless we can put him in a package for a defender. He's still a high risk player both with injuries and consistency, i'm not sure how much anyone would be willing to give up considering every team had the opportunity to sign him cheap this previous offseason and didn't. He's done well for us but if our youth is the future, let the veterans like Zetterberg stay and mentor and let Vanek redeem his career elsewhere.

I broke down and bought it, feeling like I was in the same boat. All of a sudden i'm a level 25 with my new character, 30+ hours in already and I got lost in the Skyrim world all over again. If you missed out on the DLC Dawnguard and Dragonborn, it's worth it for those alone because it can drastically change up how you play. I just went with an entirely difference race, i'm playing as a Mage/Archer which is completely odd for me as i'm always a tank/brute with bladed weapons. It's been a lot of fun, I bought Dishonored 2 and Watch Dogs 2 and have barely touched them because i'm right back into Skyrim again.
