It wouldn't be a bad thing to miss the playoffs, i'm not going to go all doom and gloom barely an 8th of the way through the season, but what bigger wake up call, going into a new stadium, wanting to maximize revenue, than having their worst season in the last 20 years? You would think it would finally motivate them to make drastic changes to better this team and get people excited for the new arena and new season. Idk what to even say, there's little effort, since Vanek has been gone, this team has been dull and seems to not care when they play. It's boring to watch on top of that.

Oh wonderful, playing in Philly next game. I like those odds.

Yes, he's really off right now and I don't think anyone can really explain why. He's better than he's playing, maybe it's the team around him bringing him down to a level below what he is capable of.
