This might be the most inactive GDT i've ever seen in all my time here. Good W tonight, Larkin saves our bacon yet again, without his emergence this season who knows where we would be sitting right now. So many big clutch moments out of this kid, I love it.

I agree with this on the 2nd goal. Smith let Tootoo skate in care free, Howard took the shooter but unfortunately the guy behind him was wide open to tap it in. Otherwise, that 3rd goal proved he's rattled and it's time to go.

I unfortunately game online with 4 die hard Pens fans (I'm the minority of the group) and they all have said Fleury has been pretty excellent for what he is facing game to game. I personally feel like Hornqvist should be seeing top 6 minutes, he's like Holmstrom junior the way he is willing to be in front of goalies and has some decent skill, not on the same level as Homer, but a somewhat similar player that can cause traffic and get some tips up front, especially when the likes of a player like Perron, who typically is a strong forward is struggling so much.

With all the talent on that team underachieving, something had to change. I mean, Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, Kunitz, and Perron in your top 6, there shouldn't be this many struggles.

Questionable 3 on 3 OT line decisions tonight.

Don't be afraid to stray and explore, most of the games charm is some of the craziness you encounter when you wander off track. Prepare to invest hundreds of hours if you want to see most of what the game has to offer.

Been on Fallout 4 mainly myself, with some Halo 5 on the side. Currently a level 27 in Fallout and 35 hours into it.

I'm not prepared to blame coaching until at minimum the halfway point of the season. It's too early to tell, we just lost a few straight after winning a few straight. The players are not shooting, and that's the biggest problem contributing to the lack of offense. Alex Ovechkin is a top league leader in shots consistently every single season, and he is a league leader in goals every single season as well. If you are only tossing 15 shots at the opposing goalie per game, you aren't scoring many goals opposed to putting up 30+. They need to stop playing so technical in the zone and looking for that perfect play and throw more turds at the direction of the net and jump on rebounds or even get lucky tips in front. The puck will bounce around and get past the goalie more often than if they are trying to force pass and turning it over constantly. It's frustrating to watch, I find myself yelling "Just SHOOT" at the TV more often than I had previous seasons. If I put blame anywhere right now, its the reservations the players have to put rubber on the goaltender.

As a Buff fan, i'd love him here. I think he is at his best, even offensively, when he is back on defense. Having the flexibility to have a player capable of jumping up on wing and playing defense is a huge plus also. After the moves we made, landing Green and Richards, considering recent history, I don't really have much confidence in another big move to bring him here, but i'd embrace it and be thrilled. I don't think many would like the price though.

The thread was inevitable, but the approach was in poor taste. There are other threads, including the GDT, where tonight's game and recent play can be discussed. I don't see this continuing on as constructive, nor do I think that the initial post was intended for it to result that way. We've all been here before, these skids happen every season. Let's keep our heads screwed on and try to remain civil and respectful.

It still feels like you weigh 400 lbs when you are skating and stopping, I don't know what it is, it feels like there's way too much friction when you should glide. I've been playing it a bit lately since it's release and I give it a solid 7/10, but my opinion hasn't changed much from the beta. It still needs work, they need to revert back to how stick handling worked in the previous generation of games. I also think there needs to be a separation of EASHL modes, one can be how it is, simplistic, pick a class and play on an even ice surface. They also need to bring back the card system and make it more of a "ranked" mode, where you can work on your progress, put stats where you want, and get rewarded for how much you play in the long term. That would make everyone happy if they appealed to both ends of players. It's improving, but I still see this gen of NHL a step down from last gen in nearly every capacity except graphics and presentation.
