Last week of the fantasy baseball regular season and i'm barely out of a playoff spot. Tension ensues, must win to get that last seed. I really couldn't think of anything else to randomly post.

Verlander with the ugly start tonight, 7 ER already through 2 innings. They are only down by 4 and there's a lot more to be played but rough night for Justin.

Oswalt has flat out been ineffective for Texas. After his dismal start for them I don't see anyone going after him at this point.

The way it's sounding every team in the NHL will finish with the same 0-0-0 record. Glad we reopened projections about our team for this upcoming season, it hasn't been discussed for at least a day.

What I posted above was wrong, episode 8 will be the midseason finale. With that said, who saw episode 7? Um.. holy s***. If you haven't seen it you will know exactly what i'm talking about once you do.

Yeah i'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they did officially make him a 2 year offer. Apparently he wants a longer deal, so that more than likely explains the delay in his signing. I say go for it, it's not gonna hurt to give him a shot. -

No. No no no and no. Redden collected a big paycheck and disappeared. If I remember right hes still getting way overpaid and has a pretty nightmarish contract, something like 6.5 mil a season. I read an article lately that listed the 15 worst contracts in sports history and Redden was on the list. He has nothing to contribute anymore for the money.

I found it on demand tonight, watching the first episode as I type this. I'm not entirely sure what I think. It's violent and hilarious so i'll probably give it a few more episodes. I'm pretty sure episode 6 was the midseason finale for Breaking Bad so no more new episodes until early next year unfortunately.

I still own a plethora of CDs, but I just about always listen to classic rock radio in the car. (Loo you need to teach me how to build a better relationship with my vehicle. Mine is an old vengeful asshat. ) The person below me is seriously stressing about the potential of a lockout.

It's a couple days late but congrats to Reds prospect Billy Hamilton for breaking the single season stolen base record. He broke the old record of 145 and there's still about 20 games left in the season, he's projected to flirt with 160 before the season ends. This kid is unbelievably fast, you tube him if you aren't familiar with him.

Per Rotoworld According to MLB.com's Jason Beck, the Tigers have officially ruled out Victor Martinez (knee) returning this season. Martinez was hoping to make a comeback in September, but will instead focus on getting himself medically cleared for spring training. Just seven months removed from ACL surgery, he was a longshot to contribute this season

I second this, I have about a dozen or so non-wing hockey fan friends and not a single one of them has any lack of respect for Datsyuk. No one can replace Yzerman, but Dats sure as hell followed in his footsteps in how he carries himself as a person.

It's always someone in baseball.. when are players going to learn that doping will catch up with them eventually. At least when Stamkos breaks 50 goals in a season the first question isn't "I wonder if he's on steroids". One of many reasons why I prefer hockey over baseball, there's more class and honesty.

I don't care if it makes me greedy, Datsyuk retires here at the brisk age of 40 as a Red Wing or i'm gonna be depressed. I shall reject any other blasphemy about him going to Russia.

After doing a bit of research I can confirm that the final season of Breaking Bad is going to be 16 episodes total. They will air the first 8 episodes followed by a break and the last 8 episodes airing at a later date.
