Even Eklund is saying hes unavailable, coming from him considering how many BS trade scenarios he dreams up it's probably legit.

Looks excellent, nice work!

Dickey's knuckleball is disgusting.

No, but a co-worker of mine made a two foot tall elephant by cutting up cardboard boxes, it was actually really impressive. I tend to draw on receipt paper myself. The person below me wishes their place of work would burn down.

Vanek isn't that great imo, the season before last was a disaster for him and I can see him being an off and on type of player throughout his career. No thanks, especially not for 7 mil per. Derek Roy? Sure if we could convert him to playing wing instead of center. He's the better player when comparing him to Vanek and would probably come cheaper. I still see any trade in general as a last resort option, why dish out our players and picks when we can sign quality guys without sacrificing any of that? The deal with Stuart happened because it was necessary, not because the Wings are in a trading mindset. Free Agents are priority #1 and if we do it right no trades are going to happen.

The first DLC content pack titled "Dawnguard" is on it's way, promising an expansive addition to the world of Skyrim. It's currently set for release on June 26th for the Xbox 360 and late July for PS3 and PC. Due to certain exclusivity the Xbox will be seeing the first release of this and future DLC following a release on other platforms about a month later. I took time away from Skyrim but i'm looking forward to getting back into it once the DLC hits, let's hope its a smooth transition and bugs or complications won't delay it's release. I would have posted more but I took an arrow to the knee.

If we fail to reload with top UFAs we should?

It's kinda shocking how close this is to what I was going to post. Plan B, Semin, Wideman, Hudler and youth. Bring in Josh Harding and potentially a grinder/goon like Prust that has some small level of hockey talent on top of the physical play. For this reason I'd pass on Konopka who i've seen mentioned before. Good news is that it's now June 17th and we only have about two more weeks of this agonizing anticipation until we actually see what this team does/doesn't do to structure for the future. -
Hammel was one hit taken from a no-no tonight as well, been a lot of impressive starts lately. Verlander is due for one.

We really need focus on getting those dirty and ugly goals again. Holmstrom in his prime was a force in front of that net and our PP was stellar. Stewart is a non-option, not entirely sure why his name keeps being brought up, but realistically we need a replacement player for Holmstrom. Someone like Hornqvist or Neil who will plant their ass in front of the goalie and get some screens and deflections going. I watched game after game of 30-45 second passing surges that lead to finally being broken up or the shot being blocked or going wide. Before you know it a minute of the PP has gone by, our boys keep shuffling the puck around and the clock just seems to burn away. There was countless times on our PP this past season where I was yelling at the television "JUST SHOOT!". The Great One once said "You miss 100% of the shots you never take". We just gotta get back to basics, shoot a lot and grind for those bounces.

Does it work?! A bit expensive for my blood but it's very cool.

Semin disappointed making 6.7 million this past season, i'm not sure how motivated he would be taking a contract for 4-5 mil per. With that said, and i've made it pretty well known how I feel about Semin, if it came down to Hudler at 4 mil or Semin at 5 mil theoretically i'd probably take the risk on Semin IF it was a short contract. That way if he decides to play lazy we aren't tied up for long.

New season starts July 15, looking forward to it. I've restarted the series from season one, planning on watching through it all again before the final season starts.

Congrats Matt Cain, first perfect game in Giants history. I was lucky enough to be able to watch the last three innings of this one, another rare feat this season.

I think if this was going to happen it would have happened in the deal for Stuart instead of Andy Murray. I'm not sure the Wings are going to make another deal with San Jose either, considering how close we are to free agency and the names that will be available without having to sacrifice picks or players to get them.

2012 LGW Playoff Picks Game: Final Standings

22nd woo! In my defense I didn't post any predictions for the 2nd round of the playoffs, i'll do better next year. This was a pretty fun game, thanks for running it OP! -
I can hear centcougar's dead horse screaming from the grave "STFU about Parise to Minnesota already!".

St. Louis is a respectable and competitive team again, why wouldn't they do what they can to retain Stewart? He was a recent addition to their team which has become a success, I don't see them messing with that.

That's one job I have intentionally avoided, it's not for me. The person below me has been fired from a job.

I was hoping it was the other Murray also, thanks for your services Brad you will be missed. Now we can look forward to BlueAdams capgeek lines thread without Stuart on this team.

Rock Your Socks Off - Tenacious D

He can get his name spelled right when he can get his ERA below 8 That Seattle combined no-hit game was unusual, don't think i've seen anything like that before. It's not nearly as impressive when it takes 6 pitchers to get it done though, regardless if Millwood got injured. It's a much more impressive feat when a single pitcher does it by himself.

That's not what you originally posted about, Garrison isn't even in your D lines.
