It only makes sense when you have an irrational hatred for Howard. Anyone see what's going on with the Rangers? Lundqvist has been benched for the 4th straight game tonight for his backup who has been playing brilliantly. Henrik Lundqvist, arguably the best goaltender in the NHL. It's called smart hockey, and it happens all around the league, it isn't some senseless betrayal of Mrazek.

This is a complete contradiction of your statements. Sheahan has been playing bad and gets bumped up for more playing time and you are complaining about it and bad coaching. Mrazek played a bad game, gets yanked, and Howard fills in allowing zero goals and then a brilliant performance against Philly and you are complaining that Howard is getting rewarded for playing well. Make up your mind.

Howard confirmed to start tonight again, assuming after his excellent outing against Philly and Mrazek having a rough time last game he started.

I was close to posting something very similar. Jimmy has earned this win, it sucks that there's a goose egg up there after the fantastic effort he's put forward. All season he's given us every single chance to win every game, and they keep failing to put up offense. Vanek and AA need to be in the top 6. Make a Tatar Sheahan Nyquist 3rd line and a Glendening Ott Jurco 4th. What's going out on the ice right now isn't working, goals aren't being scored, it needs to change. Get Sproul back in the lineup and on the PP launching rockets from the point and getting those rebound opportunities. All Lashoff is doing is fumbling with the puck and shooting wide.

NOW can we reshuffle lines and try to get some offense going?

Jimmy playing tonight makes me feel a little more confident, i'm not sure where Mrazek's head was last game but it definitely wasn't in the hockey game. Let him sit one out and get himself back together. Still would like to see Sproul in for Lashoff, not sure where the logic is in sitting him. I still want AA on that 2nd line over Glendening who has done nothing since playing up there, he needs to be down with Ott and Jurco. Let's pull off a W here, LGW!

This isn't untrue to be honest. I've been here all game, just not a whole lot to talk about during games like this.

Good call, get Mrazek out. His head isn't in it tonight.

There should have been a whistle, but when there wasn't and Mrazek plays it there, he needs to have the mental maturity to play the game and not worry about chirping at the ref and not watching what's going on in front of him.
