Ted Kulfan @tkulfan Red Wings may have signed Swiss goal-scorer Damien Brunner...is he the next coming of Filppula's older brother? Or Leino for that matter. Willing to give the guy a chance though but I think he will have to prove himself in the AHL first. -

Stall is not happening, he may get traded this season so Pittsburgh doesn't lose him for nothing, but he has made it clear he wants to play with his brother in Carolina. At least thats what Dreger and Mackenzie were saying on Sportscentre. If a high end trade is going to happen, it will probably be with and East team. No one in the west is going to trade a star to us without pillaging the farm. Milan Lucic would be at the top of my list and very realistic I think considering Boston is going to have to sign Him, Marchand, and Seguin to big raises next offseason.

Finally good to see that management is seeing this too. Many of us have been advocating this for a couple offseason now. I am not implying that I know more than management, they have probably noticed this over the last few years as well. Hence the drafting of more NA players in the draft recently. I'm just glad they are finally coming out and saying that they need to get bigger. -
