The aWild are more than 1-2 players away. This is craziness on their part if true. No way Minny earns the Cup in my lifetime! Certainly not in the next 13 years!

It is ridiculous, but,IMO, that is what it would take to get him here. I would consider paying it too, especially since it could land us Weber the following season.

If we miss out on suter, we can forget about trading for a forward, we will be flipping assets for a defenseman and signing Semin or grabbing the best bottom 6 talent we can get our hands on and trap trap trap.

I agree completely. We would definately loose Filipula, Nyquist (over Smith), Tatar or Janrok, Oulette or Sproul, and likely Franzen.5 players for Nash - Filpula, Nyquist, Tatar, Oulette, Franzen (best case scenario IMO) The way I look at it, Nash is Franzen at his best, and consistent - so his loss would be a wash. I really like the potential of Tatar and Nyquist and Janrok, but they're still unproven. I would shudder to give up Oulette or Sproul, but they're years away from an impact and there's time to restock/reload. Filipula would be the only player that we could not replace immediately. D and Z would have to play on separate lines, and we would have to bring in an additional scoring winger to play in the top 6 (Parise, Semin Ryan - although we would have no tradeables) In the end, I think if we can bring in Semin or Parise or another top 6 i'm too tired to think of, I think Nash makes us favorites - regardless of what goes down in Pitts.

Listen, I understand this is a big decision, but come on, this is getting utterly ridiculous. Did these guys seriously not realize they were going to get offers from every fuchin team? Forget about all the other UFA millionaires out there waiting on these two descisions so they can sign with a club and make their family adjustments - what about the fans? I took today off just so I could sit in front of a computer all day and wait out a couple decisions (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) and what have a got? I'm cranky as s*** because I'm running on too little sleep and too much caffeine, my wife is upset because I've just been sitting around the house and now I need a new F5 key! Parise makes a statement that there's a statement coming...just not soon and probably not today? Suter is even worse! I know he's made a list, how could you not? He has had at least 6 weeks since his season ended - this is your career dips*** - you could have done your due dillegence and researched the teams/cities/schools or whatever questions you had well in advance of July 1. Lazy fuch! I hate that I care about this so much, but I can't help it. For the love of GOD, somebody do something!
