timothy1997 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2005 ok...correct me if i am wrong about this. the big ten standings will end up being after this weekends games be: #1 Penn State or Ohio State, depending on michigan state-penn state game #2 Ohio State or Penn State #3 Wisconsin #4 Minnesota #5 Michigan Is this right? I cant believe I am seeing Michigan ending up 5th overall in the big ten standings. What a disaster season!
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted November 20, 2005 You jinxed it....... AND YOUR SUPPOSED TO RUN OUT OF BOUNDS........jesus.....BASIC FOOTABLL SKILLS...... who jinxed whom? Eva.....by starting this topic I was probably the only Michigan fan on this or any other medium I converse on that has held out Big Ten title hope all season. And My post simply said it was possible. I did not even suggest that it was likely.

I did not even suggest that it was likely. I would be #2 on that list. I had to wait until it was mathematically impossible before I gave up hope. Especially this year in the Big Ten, everyone was beating everyone else, it wasn't a ridiculous thought that Michigan would beat Ohio State and MSU would beat PSU. Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted November 20, 2005 Well, it was a little ridiculous to think MSU was gonna beat PSU.
timothy1997 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2005 Iowa beat Wisconsin today. Michigan slaughtered Indiana. Next weekend Michigan can clinch the Big Ten with a win and a Penn State loss. Penn State plays Michigan State, and the Spartys (5-5, 2-5) have bowl eligibility on the line. Looks good for the Wolverines. Eva, you said it "looked good"...not that it was a "possible". There's a huge difference in but those words used to describe the wolverines chances.

Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 I just think Michigan State's chances of beating anyone again this year went out the window with their heartbreaking loss to Michigan. It certainly could have happened, but all signs pointed to no.

The spartans have not been the same ever since.
