Yea. but truth be told I wouldn't mind them being a lower seed come playoff time.

unless I have some unforseen family emergency, I vow to never go to New York City.

NYC is the most amazing city you can go to. I've been to most of the major ones. Chicago is a close second. Chicgao is a fun little city. Good bars too. And you HAVE to go to Old Billy Goats Tavern and get a double with egg. The ULTIMATE hangover food.

It's true that the Pistons still save their A game for good teams sometimes and they get burned by lower seeds...

But don't worry, I will be a good luck charm to counter the Cavs fan my brother is bringing to the game

I hate Grand Rapids, I can only imagine what I will think of a real city. Too many people and too much traffic

Really? I'm about as east as you can get (saint clair shores) and I love going to the west side and the grap. My cousin went to Aquinas for 3 years and I couldn't wait to visit him. It's like a whole different country compared to the east side. And I can assure you traffic is not as bad as it is in southeast michigan. You would like Chicago, you can take the train everywhere.

It beats Paris? Tokyo? Rio? :P

I miss both. I think the last time I was in NY was high school... but it's just gorgeous.

Ok, so snapshot from the JLA crowd at tonight's game: The jumbotron was flashing the random Flames fan in the stands and showed this one couple twice (guy's in a Calg jersey, girl in the Dtown), and the second time he gets up and shows off the McCarty back, to rave boos.. afterward she kisses him on the cheek after "to support her man", then some guy in our section (far far away) yells "Skank!"

It was kind of funny. In that limited way that a guy calling someone else a skank possibly can be.

Ugh. One of my friends is from Cleveland and when they eliminated the Stones I don't think I talked to her for at least a week. We don't mess around with sports here in Michigan.

I really hope I can get to Japan before I expire. Paris would be nice too. I took four years of French but I am quite sure they would not be able to understand anything I say lol

You don't need to worry about traffic, you can walk/subway/bus/boat everywhere.

Nobody dislikes people more than me, and I love the NYC.

that is the main reason I hate cities. I like to drive myself, I do not like to ride busses or trains or cabs, they all cost money, and if I drive myself in a city, there is too much traffic. its a lose lose situation. no cities for me.

Especially when it comes to Ohio teams

True. They live in Ohio so I gueeesss we have to cut them some slack. (not really).

I just am a rural person. Cities do not appeal to me in the least. I like waking up and seeing deer in my backyard.

At the same time I can see myself living in the city such as Chi-town and NYC but at the same time nothing would make me happier than chopping my own fire wood in my backyard but you gotta give Chi-town a shot at least. Chicago is a fun time.

I hate GR...it's just a weird city...but again I had bad times at GV so maybe that's where the hate comes from. I got lost in GR trying to go to church during that huge blizzard super bowl weekend last year. GOOD TIMES...lol
