Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 That's it. Blow up the team. They'll dominate in the regular season every year and choke in the playoffs. The only reason this one was close was a blown call on an interception and a stupid fumble by the Bus. Trade Manning, Harrison, James, Freeney, and Wayne, and start from scratch. They'll never get to the Super Bowl.

HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 So I'm confused. I really don't watch Football. How do the playoffs go? Isn't it one game and whoever loses is eliminated? Because I could of sworn I've seen the Pats/Broncos play two games...I'm lost. Who's left?

Next Sunday's games: Pittsburgh at Denver Chicago or Carolina at Seattle Winners of next Sunday's games go to Super Bowl XL

I thought for sure that Vanderjerk was going to cry at the end of the game. I hate to see any team lose a game like that, but for vanderjerk...it works perfectly. Great game tho. Tons of excitement and suspense. I love that they flashed the "vanderjagt has never missed a field goal at home during the playoffs" stat right before he attempts the field goal. I knew then the kick would be missed.

timothy1997 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Does anyone really think the Bears will win? the bears have a chance if they can hold the panthers under 10 pts....with carolina winning 7-0 now, i doubt the bears will win. No playoff experience. Carolina is a tough team to eliminate.
Heaton 1 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 They could. I don't personally think they will though. But their Defense is awsome. 1 more TD and the game is over, the Bears have no offense, none. This isn't the 2000 Ravens, they don't have Jamal Lewis and a QB who can actually complete passes. Seriously, I've seen more people jump on the Bears bandwagon this season than any other team. I don't care about the Superbowl, I just want to see the Bears lose.
timothy1997 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 I'm offically on the Panthers bandwagon. I haven't supported one team completely like i have in previous playoffs, but I wouldn't mind seeing Carolina in the Super Bowl. Coach Fox knows how to make the most out of his team and win in the playoffs.

I don't care about the Superbowl, I just want to see the Bears lose. experience counts so much in the playoffs. Holmgren, Cowher, Shanahan, Fox.....all have tremendous playoff experience, not to mention Super Bowl appearances. Lovie Smith is a good coach, but he doesn't belong to be mentioned in the same playoff breath as those other coaches.

dallas27 7 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 surprised gowingsgo hasn't jumped in here yet to talk about how the bus is on its way to Motown. All in due time I laughed so hard when he blew that FG...that was beyond wide right, that was out of town wide right lol. Plus once they put that he never missed a field goal at home I knew he was done. I'm surprised Indy didn't run and get the first down on that 3rd and 2 and use a to, they had two left. dallas27 7 Report post Posted January 16, 2006 Yea, I was quite surprised that they have him returning kick offs and punts (I think both). If I were the coach I would not be putting a player of his caliber out there to return punts and kickoffs.
