a trade hope with ottawa

press keeps saying ottawa needs a second line center , so im thinking (though if im ottawa i say no ) offer lang , hudler plus say a 5th round draft choice for mike fisher . hes a good two way player with speed that could play 2nd line left wing or 3rd line center . hed make team younger , and his overall affect would be beyond what lang contributes this year (imo) , and to my eye hes got offensive upside that may make him a 60 point man .

whoa, huge overpayment, I thought you were going to say Havlat. And besides, whens the last time 2 of the favorites going into the playoff made a huge trade like this at the deadline?

Hell, whens the last time a cup contender ever made a blockbuster deal at the deadline?

I think that proposal was written by Mike Fisher's Mom...

You are right -- why would Ottawa make such a deal? People forget we have a cap in place -- there will be many fewer trades.
