I haven't seen a game this crazy since the one about three or four seasons ago with St. Louis...I remember that game Joey Kocur threw a chair on the bench and got a little out of hand.

Two shifts in a row that Franzen's been out on Langers's line.

Lang sucks ass. WOW. Not only can the guy not complete a pass, nor cover his man, nor indeed skate (willingly) fast, but he also can't even get a wide open shot ON THE GOAL.

f***!

Try just Lang.

Nice job leaving your man WIDE open near the net, Lang. Been taking lessons from Lilja?

Edit: Note to Torres: if you choose to take revenge, please injure Lang.

NOOOO! We can't have Lillypads taking up centre for him!

f*** Raffi Torres. Would anyone be against having Phaneuf or Bertuzzi end his career? He's the biggest douchebag in hockey. Every time someone touches a teammate of his, he goes headhunting. Obviously you can't forget the cheapshot against Williams earlier either.

C'mon Dion and Todd, at LEAST knock the guy out for the season so he learns a lesson.

Who else is going to play nhl after this game and face this team and beat the HELL out of torres

Why? Becuase he stands up for his teammates? I'm not saying I like the guy, but there is no harm is being physical when guys like Kirk Maltby are taking little ***** shots after the whistle.

Anyway, Babcock needs to seriously consider giving the fourth-line lots and lots of more ice time. In the last 15 games, they have been far superior to the Lang/Cleary/Williams line. At some point you have to reward them.

Pretty good game so far. Glad to see Filppula get a goal. Hopefully he starts getting more ice time rather than the NHL's worst second line.

Kudos to Maltby on that hit on Torres too. :hehe:

I can still see Quennville with his eyes wide open, scared sh#$less as though Joey was going to come over the glass and proceed to commence a beatdown. It was funny too that all the Blues on the ice were staying away from the Wings bench too, IIRC Mickey was commenting on it too. :P

Anyone see the first and second line comparison in the pregame?

Over the past three games, Zetterberg and Datsyuk alone have had seventeen points. Three games. Not even including Holmstrom.

Over the past fifteen games, Cleary, Lang, and Williams have combined for twelve points. Fifteen games. Twelve points. Three players.

If there's a worse second line than that, please let me know.

My fear is that we will expend so much energy tonight that we won't have anything left for Nashville tomorrow night. I hope that isn't the case, but it's a fear in the back of my mind.

Here comes round three...what in the hell else can happen?
