yeah canucks need to win div, the last thing i wanna see is playing a hot goalie in the playoffs. I'm so freakin sick of it!!

This is why I would love to see Detroit play in the Eastern Conference, except for Brodeur.

I'm sorry, but where the hell are you guys coming up with the Wings playing Vancouver in the playoffs? If the Wings win the division, they will (most likely) face Minnesota or Calgary If they finish fourth, they will (most likely) either face Dallas or San Jose (possibly Anaheim if the sh*t hits the fan). If Vancounver keeps up their play their is no way the Wings could play them in the first round, and barring an upset, there's no way they could play them in the second round!

*Confused*

Sidenote: The Wild are 5-2-3 in their last 10 (sitting with 79 points in 67 games). The Canucks are 8-1-1 in their last 10 (sitting with 83 points in 66 games). How exactly are the Wild hotter than the Canucks?

Edit: Grammar

Vancouver will win that division, there good on the road and the play good hockey at home as well.. The flames are aweful on the road and most of there remaining games are on the road.. So im abit confused about how this thread was started saying were going to face the Nucks in the 1st round

You can beat Vancouver by getting pucks to the net and neutralizing the Sedin sisters.

Canucks dominate another opponent from the east

In the rest of the world, lightning never strikes twice. In Vancouver, it never strikes once, except when it hits five times in three games for Jeff Cowan.

The Tampa Bay Lightning, who entered the National Hockey League in 1992, remained 0-for-ever in Vancouver as the Canucks got a pair of goals from their grinder-turned-sniper Tuesday and beat the 2004 Stanley Cup champions 5-1.

As the saying goes, the Canucks left it all on the ice. And after Cowan's second goal capped a rollicking third period, so did one female fan. At least we assume it was a she who tossed a bra on to the ice, creating a standoff between Canuck defenceman Willie Mitchell, who speared the unmentionable with his stick, and referee Dave Jackson, who was hesitant to transfer it to the penalty box.

"I believe it was lingerie," Mitchell explained. "I haven't seen a lot of bras, but I believe it was in the 36-range. [Jackson] didn't know what to do with it."

That was priceless last night when i was watching

In Vancouver right now on one of the big talk shows they're talking about it replacing towel power (waving of the white towel) which was born in Vancouver in 1982 by Roger Neilsen, or it becoming like the Detroit octopus. :D
