Schneids_is_awesome 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 (edited) Here's hoping it's just a really bad sting or something and that he'll be back in the next game. Kronwall is an important part of the Wings defense. What worries me is that hockey players are tough as nails and Kronner was noticably in a lot of pain. I thought Lebda was going to be out a very long time, but thank gosh he is gonna be okay, so lets hope the same for Kronner. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 I'm reluctant to bring this up, but Mickey would have been all over what a phenomenal save that was if Osgood had made it instead. With Hasek, it was "too easy" to stop. I am unsurprised by that comment. It is a shame, though. The Dallas announcers thought it was great and gave Hasek credit. It seems like the injuries where at the moment the player is in A LOT of pain..are the injuries that are nothing to worry about. It's the one's that don't look so bad that are scary. If i'm even making sense? But yeah..hopefully Kronwall is okay.

Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 Dallas is playing terrible, just mailing it in so far. Yeah, sorry loo, but I'm not seeing a nail-biter out of this one. I'll go out on a limb and predict that Hasek gets a... game where no pucks cross his red line.

Dallas announcers are not bad at all, especially compared to Nashville guys.

With Hasek, it was "too easy" to stop. If my memory of Mick's gushing over Oz is right, then I'd agree with you. I think Mickey's point on the no-feint was valid though: it was a dramatic situation for sure, but the move put on Dom wasn't all that difficult. Everyone has a bit of bias, but even if Mick loved Oz up for a save like that, I think he'd remain aware of that fact. The old man isn't a homer, thank the stars. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 what's with this "we'll be right back with NHL Centre Ice" garbage?!?! sucks doesn't it? Now we have a still screen with a shot of the rim of the Stanley Cup. And now a Stars playoff commercial. I will take that over the be right back thing. Wow. Bad production. Edi, you need to speak to these people, or go work for them or something. Stars look very tired. Good.

Pskov Wings Fan 71 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 what's with this "we'll be right back with NHL Centre Ice" garbage?!?! For whatever reason Dallas is one of the places, which does not let you see local commercials.

And yeah, it could have been 3-0 already, honestly! We've been owning the power play and Homer nearly put one in from the front. Huds also nearly pulled a Stars d-man out of his pants for an attempt at the net. I think he's going to get one tonight.

Then, we find out he's ruptured every ligament in his knee and is out all year. Or which defenseman went down really bad last year, and his knee looked really badly damaged, and he played later in the game? Might have been Lilja.

I think Dom makes things look easy and more is expected of him, so I don't blame Mick. If he does have a bias against Dom, it wouldn't be that remarkable. Dallas announcers gave him credit, at least. As long as they didn't score, who cares?
