Matt's a pretty good skater, he doesn't really have a history of tripping over the blue line like that. I don't know what the hell that was, but it's not something to lose sleep over.

Ive always felt Matty could be a little shady in our own zone, but he has that monster shot from the blue line that makes up for all of it.

And yes, he played one heck of a game on Thursday. Keep it up Schneids!

one turnover that doesnt happen a lot, i mean it doesnt happen a lot that he trips like that, doesnt mean you can go blabbing around saying he played horribly

The only serious mistake Schneider made led directly to the Tanguay goal. Alex was HIS guy on the far post, but Mat played the pass, not the man. End result is a goal, despite how quickly Dom moved laterally and almost saved it.

That said, his excellent offensive showing and physicality balances this equation, so I'm not griping or anything.

And except for the giveaway in front of the net I thought Lilja played pretty darn well too. Good for him getting his nose dirty and not backing down from any of the flames.

Not to knit-pick or anything, but I don't remember any giveaway by Lilja, and the boxscore doesn't show one for him. Details?
