My only prediction is this:

*WHEN* we win, I think that Cleary or Dom will be the best person in the ice and will thus take the coveted spot for Game 3 in my sig. Though I will keep an open mind.

Z we need you tonite. Let's get'er done. LET'S GO WINGS!!!!

Do some of you Wings fans predict that they'll win every game

Just like the Flamer fans?

Unreal.

All this talk about who brought their A game and who is playing better. WHen you have two teams trying to impose their will on the other something has to give...

I think the wings will lose this game -- and have to come home and regroup. And I have no idea about who will score. Calgary will come here with momentum. However, I do know they have been a crappy road team this year and will have to prove something.

I think this series is headed for 7 games....

Look it up -- but I think every team that has scored first in the playoff this year has won the game...? How nutty is that.

I know that every team leading after the 1st has won so far. I THINK.

Off topic, but if anybody didn't hear Don Cherry on Jim Rome but wanted to hear what he said about Datsyuk and the Wings in general, here's a clip:

http://aflac9262.googlepages.com/DonCherryOnJimRome.mp3

I couldn't believe Cherry threw that cheap shot in there though at the beginning. He can talk all he wants about the Wings style of play, but where are his precious Toronto Maple Leafs? What's going on in their series? Oh yeah that's right, they are *cough* golfing!

Hey all it appears that the Live Chat feature here will work tonight....

or won't it?

Anyone know for sure?

By the looks of it, yes. :siren:

Don't know if this has already been posted but Ken Kal just said that Jiri Hudler may take Kyle Calder's spot tonight, making him a healthy scratch... he said that Babcock was looking for more from him in the first 3 games.

I can believe it.

Cherry is beyond a joke anymore. Honestly the only reason he's even employed is because love him or hate him, people still watch him and listen to his BS.

:scared:

ugh This person better be joking about Calder sitting, it should be Lang. From what i've seen in the first 3 gmaes is just awful. He is one of the worst players on the ice for both teams. I'll take a guy who goes in the corners anyday over a Lazy Lang

Is that a joke? Calder being benched before Lang and Samuelsson? Calder wasn't the one being lazy or firing wristers from the blue line on the power play.

What!? That makes no sense. I want Hudler to play, but Hudler for Calder is really confusing...

And for the person who asked. Why would we predict for the Wings to lose? It's a prediction...not real life. Why would we randomly think that the Flames, who haven't even risen to their top game yet, would beat us...surely you jest.

From TSN's Ice Chips

Head Coach Mike Babcock may switch up his lines for Game 4 of the Wings series with the Flames. Todd Bertuzzi may replace Mikael Samuelsson on a line with Robert Lang and Kyle Calder in an attempt to jump start the offence. Samuelsson would likely be shifted to the fourth line with Valtteri Filppula and Johan Franzen or scratched in favor of Jiri Hudler. - Detroit News

Huge game, Calgary hasn't brought it's "A" game yet in the series, hoping we see it here in game 4.

Flames 4 (Iginla, Huselius, Langkow, Primeau)

Red Wings 2 (Zetterberg, Lidstrom)

Really hope Bertuzzi plays again, he and Lang remind me of the Wings in the 2004 playoff series. Lazy and uninspired.

The C of Red will be fired up again tonight!

GO FLAMES GO!!!

I usually don't make game predictions, but I'm feeling inspired today. Wings net 2 in the first, Calgary zero, taking the crowd out of the equation. The Lang/Calder line was given a wake up call by Babs after the last game and they net a couple more before the end of the game. 4-2 Wings.

The Calder thing I heard as well, I think it was slightly out of context. He was merely saying that the entire line was doing nothing, including everyone's darling around here, Mr. Calder.

That would be ideal... so im glad calder isn't getting scratched

Maybe Huds possibily coming into the lineup might inspire Langer. :siren:

They do play well together. They trust each other with the puck and pass well to each other. They both like to shoot and they are probably Detroit's #2 offensive duo behind the Dats-Zata combo.
