edicius 3,269 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 We're finally starting to move the play into their zone this period. Were they sandbagging it before this so they'd have some energy in the 3rd?

Guest swarheit Report post Posted May 14, 2007 About time the Red Wings have awoken. It took four and a half periods of being outplayed by the Ducks, but whatever woke them up from their slumber, the Wings have looked like a completely different team in the second half of the second period and here so far in the third. Man, it's good to see, because, for a while there, I was starting to get concerned. But the offense seems to be rocking again. For those of you without access to Versus/CBC, I'm posting highlights (goals, ect.) of the game on my blog and I've got up to the second period right now with Datsuyk's goal upcoming. Should make it a bit easier to bear for Red Wings fans who are locked out of the coverage tonight. -Scott

HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 I love the last shift by Bert. He comes off the bench and starts pressuring right off the bat where the Ducks had no room to do anything. BEAUTIFUL. GO WINGS!!!!!!!! GO BOBBY LANG!!!
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Time for Hasek to prove he's worth that $750,000 he already has, and then some. All the Vezina candidates are golfing, and Dom plays on. Nothing more needs to be said.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 (edited) They're gonna review it. When Dom got up, though, the puck was on the line, not across. EDIT: Uh-oh. When did the whistle blow? The puck was stuck in his kneepad. Edited May 14, 2007 by edicius
