Is It Fatigue or Lack of Heart?

Lack of heart? The collective majority thought this team was going to get manhandled by the Flames. Then they thought this team was going to get manhandled by the Sharks. The Wings came back from a 2-1 games deficit against the Sharks, which could've easily been 3-1 after game 4. And the original creator of this thread is questioning this team's heart?

Don't make me laugh.

I think we got the Ducks' best game and the Wings looked a bit nervous at first. By the time they got it going it was way too late. Had Detroit played as intensely as they did in the 3rd, then maybe we coulda won. That's what I was wondering the entire first two periods...where is Detroit's desperation?

Now it can be argued that Anaheim just clamped down on them. And fine, if you want to argue that, then it's a valid statement. However, I'll just say this, there's something to be said when the red wings come into the offensive zone and skate to the side as opposed to when the Ducks come in they skate directly to the net. That was the difference. That's how you get the rebounds and deflections.

Don't ever question the heart of a team if you are not on the team. The wings could have rolled over and played dead last night, but fought back and almost did it. There is a lot of fight left in the wings for the future!
