I think he's a "Plan B" for a lot of teams that might miss out on Smyth and some of the other bigger names.

i would take shanny back in a flash before i decided to re-sign bert. i like bert but he's no brendan, nor will he be.

let's hope these two blockbuster signings in nyc prompt the red wings brass to offer shanny a homecoming.
