Another hockeypuck related lawsuit

I say take the nets down... Hockey is hardcore and so is getting pelted in the head by a frozen black disk... Nothing better that getting to keep a puck after it smacks you in the face... you have the scars to prove you are so hardcore you went to a hockeygame! Maybe then the suits and sluts will stop going to the games ;)

Not to mention it will give the ushers a bit more to do.

Bring back the old school hockey since you are already reverting back to 80's style jerseys... TAKE DOWN THE NETS!

All that said, I made an oath to myself that I would never, ever sit in the lower bowl with my children. I live in Ohio and I went to a handful of games the year that little girl died in Columbus. I have 2 daughters and for their sake I would never seat them in a place where they could potentially be hit by anything. If I take them to a Reds game we're sittin' in the "cheap seats". If we go to a hockey game, its upper bowl all the way. Anybody who thinks they're children will be safe is flirting with disaster by sitting in areas that are prone to balls or pucks landing in. Anybody who thinks they can keep an eye on their kids and the game 100% of the time is in even more trouble.

QFT!

It'll be time to take my little girl to her first hockey game this upcoming season, and we are definitely not sitting anywhere a puck could jump over the glass and get her.

Would the puck then be featured on America's Most Wanted?

Seriously, though, let's look on the bright side...at least nobody has ever died as a result of standing up to take a picture of their family. The same can't be said for roller coasters...
