NHL Opening Day! - Ducks "@" Kings

The 2007/2008 NHL season will be underway in less than 45 minutes. It'll be very interesting to see some of the old Wings (both playing and not).

Sidenote: Apparently the girl I talked to at Time Warner held true to her word. A couple weeks she said she would set up my account with Center Ice right when it became available. Just to safe, I checked with Time Warner on Thursday to see what the status was, and I was told that it still wasn't available. Anyway, I was going to call again last night, when I decided to check one more time if I got MLB Extra Innings (which shares channels with Center Ice). Sure enough, it was working last night!

So who else is going to be watching this game?

I'm going to try. I checked for center Ice last night (which I bought on Wed) and it still wasnt there. However, I am on my way to the tv right after I click "add reply"!

I will be watching the game on HDnet. I have Center Ice (Directv) but I wont be watching it there - unless it is the CBC feed. With HDnet as a backup, this will be a real test to see if Directv has CI online and operational.

BTW... I am still scanning my channel in hopes of finding a new channel for NHL Network. No luck just yet.

As for fisticuffs, these two teams are going to want to put on a show, so I can guarantee we'll be seeing Parros vs Ivanans square up right off a faceoff! (probably at the 2:37 mark of the first ) Cant wait..
