What are you getting so worked up for? He was never a Red Wing and odds were fairly low that he was going to become one this past offseason IMO.

And he kinda played in the Quebec/Colorado franchise for a good while, so you could understand him maybe wanting to play there again. I know I sniff a lot of glue in my lifetime and am pretty dopey, but call it a hunch there...

Forsberg isn't asking for a 3 year deal. He won't get a 3 year deal.

He has said many times before, if he signs somewhere, it will be for 1 year, and he would reevaluate things at teh end of the season.

1 year contracts are what he is interested in.

I agree. It sounds like pure bull that he would be asking for 3 years. Everything I've read and seen that he have said to swedish media indicates that he will take it one year at a time.
