Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 (edited) What is up with Griffs, unbeatable away from home but can't get it done at home. as i write this we are 1-4 down at the end of the 2nd, and being outshot 27-12!! This against the same team the beat yesterday in Peoria! Anyone got any ideas as to why this is? Edited October 28, 2007 by Andy Pred
Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 (edited) a 7-1 loss is bad enough at home, but being outshot 14-41 would concern me more if I were coach. Edited October 28, 2007 by Andy Pred
Coyote0106 2 Report post Posted October 29, 2007 (edited) You know, I'd love to be able to say why the team sucks at home. They're coming out flat, their passes aren't connecting. Certain players aren't living up the hype (Kindl), or aren't playing like they did last year (Ericsson). We have to many turnovers in our defensive end, and there is no real "passion". On the road, listening on the radio, it seems like the exact opposite. It's enough to drive me nuts. Edit: Spelling. Rob the Badger 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2007 It's still early in the season. They may be playing better on the road because they're away from the home town pressure, or they may thrive in a hostile environment. We're not going to know what kind of team we have until the 20 game mark anyhow. New coach, new system, new players... it's all going to take time to gel. And having Howard up in the "D" isn't going to help matters much. It's a work in progress, be patient.
