Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted November 4, 2007 (edited) All the elite wingers in the world will only take you so far when you have s*** for defense and no centers worthy of playing above the 3rd line. Shows what a standup job Don Waddell has done at GM. I have to ask: when are teams going to stop overpaying Bobby Holik by such ridiculous accounts? The guy has been a terrible hockey player for years, and he's barely capable of centering a 4th line. Yet, everywhere he goes, he get's paid like a 1st or 2nd line player, when he clearly isn't. I figured once the salary cap was implemented and he was bought out by the NY Rangers he'd go extinct in the NHL, but there are still teams who choose to pull this guy's weight around for some reason. Slava Kozlov carries Atlanta, without him they would be nothing!!!! I hpe that's a good old dose of sarcasm, because Kozlov has been terrible this season. In fact, basically everyone on Atlanta not named Kovalchuk has been terrible. Something that really mystifies me about that team: they carry at least 2-3 legitimate heavyweight fighters, yet none of them fight anymore. Eric Boulton in particular is who I'm thinking of. Why have these guys if you're not going to let them fight? It doesn't make any sense. Atlanta really is a messed up team this year. Big whoop: they beat Tampa Bay tonight, who is barely a playoff team themselves. They've still got major underachievers (Hossa, Lehtonen just to name a few), and have a very low talent level overall. auxlepli 17 Report post Posted November 4, 2007 I watched the highlights to see the three goals. It seems to me both teams were moving at half speed. Maybe it was the camera work. IDK but it seemed slow to me.
